New Mayor Of Minoc

Last night after the High Council meeting I met with Anexior Bolt, a born citizen of Minoc. He mentioned a fact I had already been giving thought to, the lack of a goverment within the city itself and also about thoughts of bringing more trade and business to the city as a whole. It was during this discussion that I made the decision to give him my blessing as the new Mayor of Minoc. We have began to work out details and started a plan of action to improve trading in Minoc, and to bring a sense of safety to the city as well in the form of a legal system within the city. Anexior will be working with me on this, to establish laws for the city, just as many of the other citys have already began to do as well. As for the business side of the city; there are plans in the works to establish a new tradehouse with ties to the Ingot Emporium. It is our goal and hopes to bring about good changes to Minoc, to benefit businesses and citizens as well.

It is with tremendous pride, and hope that I, Anexior Bolt, Proprietor of Ingot Emporium am able to stand with Lady Dakota Moonstar in the attempt to finally bring peace and order to the mining regions of Minoc. We are working diligently to formulate a structured government unit that will work in tandem with the crown to bring order to these lands that so many craftspersons call both home and profession.

To that end, as my first act as Mayor of Minoc, I hereby announce, a state of limited marital law in Minoc. This order is not to exceed any laws or orders set forth by the crown or the HC, nor to give the mayor any powers not already in place, but to allow for the protection of the citizens of Minoc. It is hereby ordered that any person (s) who are found transgressing against the professinal pursuits of any citizens of Minoc, be bound to said citizen to personally work to recoup 150% of possible lost profits, as agreed upon by the mayor and HC representative to the seat of Minoc.
