The Order of the Ankh is designed to be a small-scale group of Knights operating from a countryside priory, though actively seeking involvement within the community, rather than expecting activity around their home grounds.

Unlike the Avatarian Churches of Grd and BoC, the lore of this Order does not follow historic roots of zealous crusades and inquisition, but instead follows on from the compassionate lore laid out by Avatar in the Ultima series. We offer our assistance to anyone who requires it so long as it is of virtuous intent.

The key thing to remember about the Order, especially whilst playing within it, is that we are not clergymen; merely Knights of a like-minded cause, following good karma and the eight virtues, rather than condemning all who do not pay tithe, to the firey depths of the Abyss. Therefore, the ocassional drink is acceptable, whereas public attempts of conversion are not.

Knights are encouraged to go out on a wing and get involved in the community.
