learned something new today about mining.use a sturdy pick or shovel and hit a spot one time,then use prospector tool on same spot.it will tell you a colored ore.then i use a gargoyle pick on it and get the next ore up(if it says dull copper,i get shadow.if it says verite,i get valorite)may have been like that all the time but i just learned it.

If you do not like the idea of battling elementals, you can always mine in guard zones. West Britain has lots of mountains in guarded areas, and you can mine all around the city of Cove which also has lots of colored spots. You might want to avoid Cove for a while, though, while the invasion is going on.

I have magery, no eval. I run them through fire fields and use blade spirits if it's not shadow iron

i have arch/tact/anat/heal/chiv/magic resist and mining on Sho Nuf. eles are what I'm looking for.

i just run when i get an elemental - i lure it away and then go back to mining. lol

I just dropped around 30 gargoyles pickaxes and 10 or so prospector tools on the floor of the crafters building, anybody who wants them is welcome to them if they don't decay first.

*maybe we can have a chest set up in the crafter building so we can donate stuff like that for others to get use out of ;D *hint hint*
