And thanks for the tip Ren. I was just trying to make the file into something that can be easily sorted/adjusted when needed etc. I only have Excel that can do this on my comp.

right.. time for something more constructive...

A new update on the file! Groggy taught me something spiffy in Excel, so I give this to all of you


I've added in some definitions and auto filters on the file.

Crafting definitions =

Main : a main crafting skill
Support : resource gathering for the main skill
Extra : skill that doesn't really have anything to do with the main one, but maybe follows definition of profession

So, now you can use an auto filter - click the little arrows in the heading row, and you can find easily who are the tailors (etc) in your kin and whether or not it's likely they may have worked on the skill... (some maybe don't do anything with that extra skill)

Likewise, with this auto filter feature, if you click the little arrow and choose "custom" you can use it to sort out a range of folks, such as who is in the 10-20 level range, or who is in the 30-40 range, etc.


And ohhhh hey! Ever wonder who are the "high levels"? Just choose "top 10"! (although we'll have to adjust this as more folks hit 50...)

Another thought, do folks want some info on the crafting levels? Say, who is at artisan, master, apprentice, etc? that maybe a better way to sort things, but then everyone will need to let me know how far they are with their crafting. This way we can also get an idea of who we might want to feed resources too, and who we might want to ask for criticalled items... But ahem.. this is me getting a little... too far perhaps

Besides.. crafting levels might change quickly.. and is not as easy to keep track of as levels are (kinship tabs are nice that way)
