Well the title says it all.

I love the Joy Division tag and all that but honestly no one is really playing their creep during popular hours that I can see.

Thats not a complaint and this isnt a reflection on Gnomy who is a fab bloke and all that.

But the "guild" isnt really an ongoing concern for most of you/us here so I cant really see the point in maintaining it unless we are going to recruit or have regular nights with decent attendence. [Again - no complaints just fact-stating]

I am an old pvper at heart - always was and always will be. I came to UO from Quake online and whilst UO pvp always sucked I have yearned for mass battle pvp ever since those days.

Well I have found it in LOTRO and its good and its fun and I will be doing more of it so I need to find an active guild to plan and run raids with. MOnster play means I dont have to grind and grind and grind - and I havent got time for that anymore in my life but with mplay I can go fight in a battle with comrades and have fun.

So with respect unless there is more monster players here [and I understand most of you arent pvpers and prefer the freeping] then I will search for a good monster guild and anyone who wants to come along is more than welcome.

So give me some input as to what you want to do or dont want to do

Been having those thoughts as well - Might pull slimer to another guild but keep my Warg in Joy Division for Wargpack evenings
Also got a Healer in it for Guild nights..

Why cant we just have regular monster play time and make Joy Division more active?

I enjoy the times I play my warg,but tbh,dont play it much as I get bored being on solo.

If you set up regular monster play times I am sure folk will attend.

Most of those I know with monsters enjoy it a lot.

In order to achieve much you need to be in a 25 person raid or you are freep farming meat in a mincer. Raids are pretty selective [well elitist actually] so its important to get in a decent raid. Yes Id love to monster play with you guys here but it requires the will to do so

I thought Sunday was regular monster night?

But I was the only one on Sunday night.

I will be creeping 100% of my in game time over the next few days so from 8ish to 9ish most nights I am around - but if I am in a good raid and its full then I am unlikely to leave it.

That sounds harsh and I kind of hate saying it but I want to do this more and in order to achieve that I need to do it properly at first to get the IP and DP I need.

But by all means lets get JD up and running also!

Thursdays are regular creep nights now.. and ill be on then playing in Joy Division as normal but with my healer Rank 1 almost 2

Sunday I wasnt around as I havent been the past 3/4 days and nights,but Im surprised to hear no one else was either.

Tbh at present with my limited play time I am concentrating on Rid so quite like the idea of a low key Creep experience on a THURSDAY ;)

Best Pvp I have experienced and really enjoyed were the battlegrounds and frontier zones in DAOC - at present havent seen anything in LOTRO pvp that comes close to that.

Im not bothered any way ya guys who know better think is the best way to do creep fighting... in our own or a bigger kin... just as long as we have fun

so ya decide and ill be a nice follower

Didnt play DAOC the demo ran so badly and looked so awful I never took it any further

And tbh [not that I am a vet or anything in lotro pvp] you have to really do it quite often to see the fun fights and battles and sweet moves. Ive been in every night for like near two weeks now and there really is some sweet pvp going on at times.

And yes Twoey - I think we may be coming up with a plan on that front.

Am sure I will get into monster play more at some point and am equally sure Cal that as you say with more time spent with it, better experiences on the field of battle will arise. I enjoy a good dust up with the best of 'em !

DAOC did look great in its time (so did UO !!) and the battles were good - felt like battles and not gank fests. Anyhow I will wheel out my warg or another nastie soon enough.

DAoC was the best pvp ive ever had in any game.. and i had lots in UO

8 man "gank groups" .. god i loved it.. How we as a team could take on 20 people or more.. and walk out standing.. Sure maybe some of us died during.. But fast resses right targetets.. our ways to read the enemy our knowledge of the utility they had most of all.. Made us win.

Same goes for LOTRO.. I see a game that got all this.. After we get this healer class now in april. We can have looong battles in groups of 6 against more than our odds.. You will see..
