![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Another temporary leave of absence (groggy's fault!) Gorthyn - I was leading the raid we were in last night - was good to know you were there mate ![]() My thoughts on what creep to play or wether its worth starting: How far along on your passives are you? Take a screenie and show us - if you arent that far along it then I might be tempted to re roll a Warleader or a Reaver - WLs have got self heal and even as noobs are more powerful in melee than my BA Reavers kick in some big damage also and have that bubble thing to protect them.Wargs I just didnt really like and are really only useful for knock downs and scouting from what I have seen. Also I wouldnt worry abotu Infamy Points - Destiny Points are far more important - if you do the two stone trolls quests [one hand in at Lug and one at TR] you can get 1000DP in about 15 mins if you know all the stone troll locations also do Mash [250dp] and if you can shred some hobbits you can get maybe another 1500DP per hour. What I have done at weekends was log on for 15mins and turn in some quests then re log in 2 hours and turn in the same quest items for 5 mins and log off etc But overall if you havent moved too far along your passives then maybe consider a War Leader - they are also wanted in raids quite often. ![]() ![]() sigged by the awesome Legolandje! |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Another temporary leave of absence (groggy's fault!) It doesnt make any difference other than in the upgrades you have acquired during the process? ie higher hit points/armour etc ![]() ![]() sigged by the awesome Legolandje! |

You become sig right when you got all passives. and as Callum said, no more difference that being alot harder to kill than before. You will also notice a big difference when getting some core corruptions as well.. Also as Callum said.. WLs are just awsome.. The hardest creep class in 1 vs 1. They can beat all when you are R5.. can also solo An at R7 ... Highest armor, decent dmg, heals, bubble, banners... |

I sparred a WL the other day - he was BRAND NEW just rolled and he killed my rank 3 sig BA in less than 2 minutes and he had never pvped in LOTRO before! Imagine how low I felt after that! ![]() ![]() sigged by the awesome Legolandje! |

![]() ![]() | Re: Another temporary leave of absence (groggy's fault!) Hmm think I have a Warleader whom I started off with before the Warg, perhaps I should dust him down... Aye noticed you Cal - didnt bother you as you had your hands full running the raid ! Last edited by Gorthyn; 8th May 2008 at 12:37 PM. |

![]() ![]() | Re: Another temporary leave of absence (groggy's fault!) So do you gain rank by gaining skills as well as infamy ? Are passive traits more worthwhile than say traits ? I have been concentrating on passives with my Warg and he is getting noticeably better but I seem to spend so much more time skulking rather than doing.. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Another temporary leave of absence (groggy's fault!) As you gain Rank [infamy] more Active skills get unlocked - like better attacks and stuff. But you need the Destiny Points to buy them. Infamy is really not worth worrying about until you get all your passives filled in - which took me approximately 40 manhours to achieve. [Bearing in mind I was doing a lot of raid pvp also] ![]() ![]() sigged by the awesome Legolandje! |
