![]() | The Storm: By Commodore Tiberius Clearcastle The Storm! By Commodore Tiberius Clearcastle (Copied from the RBG Website) Exeter coasted into her slip at Guardians Gate. As the Plank was dropped and Tiberius walked down it Daria walked up to him, a very grave look on her face. Stop. He said, I don’t want to hear it right now, I need at least a couple minutes in which I don’t have to worry about something. Eva!! Tiberius yelled to his sister as she joined them on the docks. Please give me some good news before Daria makes my day bad. I take it you don’t have a charged crystal? No, I used all the charges I had. I thought we had more powder but I was wrong. After all your complaining about everyone else… Yes yes I know. Good news, please. Ok, Greyylene sent me a message saying her mission was a complete success. But wouldn’t elaborate. Tiberius smiled. Anything else? He asked. Well you could tell me what its all about. I could, but I wont. For now. He laughed. Eva sighed and walked up the plank onto the Exeter and began talking to Duncan. Ok Daria, let me have it. Nevyn is gone. Come again? He is gone. He was in battle in Moonglow when another stranger popped in and when all was quite Nevyn was gone. Tiberius leaned back against the Exeter, I take it he fell through the vortex when the stranger appeared? That is what we believe, yes. Tiberius took a deep breath and sighed. Have you taken over full guild leadership then? I have. But the workload will be a heavy one. It was heavy with two of us, now it will be overwhelming. No worries my friend. If you need help you need only ask. I will post myself here for awhile and send Eva out on patrols. And you also have the other elders to help as well. That’s another thing, Angus is missing too. The Keeper too??? Ok just let me know what you need and ill do my best to help. I will, and thank you. No problem my friend. Tiberius looked up at the sky, its dark as my mood. he said. Yes. Said Daria, this looks to be the beginnings of a bad storm. More then you know, we came through part of it. This one will knock down a small house. Daria nodded, we should send out an alarm then. I agree. Said Tiberius. Commodore, the ship is secure sir. Said Duncan as he and Eva came down the plank. Very well Commander, take tonight off, tomorrow get her loaded with food and water and get her out to sea. Not to far out, just out of reach of the storm, take all the other ships with you, and set up a patrol pattern as best you can. Eva take the Guardian up to the Zento station, Greyylene is in the process of rebuilding it and I would like your expertise in building a new dock for it. Aye sir said Duncan. Yes commodore, said Eva. And both were off. Daria, the Navel personnel at Guardians Gate are now at your command through the storm. Thank you Tiberius, I may have need of them. I know everyone you can think of will be looking for a way to get to Nevyn, now you can add the Navy's resources to that. Daria Nodded and began walking back up the docks. Tiberius watched her go, it had to be hard, the RBG is a big guild and Daria was stretched pretty thin, but Tiberius would help as best he could. Half a world away……. Greyylene stood watching D’Artagnan and Buds suffer massive convulsions and wandered when it would end. Even with Commander Bishops “cure” they were having a very bad time of it. Healer, how much more must they bare? She asked. It has been three days madam, they should be ok within the next day. Very well, treat them well, they are precious cargo. Yes ma’am. Replied the healer. Greyylene turned and walked out of what had been her cabin. They were going to have a lot of problems as the black rock ale began to run out at Port Baldmor. She walked into her office turned cabin to see her comm. crystal flashing. Fleet Captain Greyylene: I got the message you sent through Eva, you have earned a well done form your commodore. Please return to Guardians Gate with Budswoman and D’Artagnan. Once you have given them into my custody, you will then go back to Zento. The Zento station will now be under your command. Tempus Will be taking over all operations in that quarter, so yes, the wolf is still your boss. Watch the storm clouds Greyylene, there is going to be bad water and I don’t want to loose you to it. Commodore Tiberius Clearcastle She laughed hard at Tiberius’s little joke, and sent conformation to him. Wolf indeed she laughed as she left the room and went up on deck. Mr. Bishop she said, make for Guardians Gate, take it slow and easy though , the Commodore reports bad weather. Yes Ma’am replied Jack Bishop as he walked to the wheel deck and made the course changes. She watched him go and moved to the front of the ship, watching the Caroline cut through the water and enjoying the spray on her face. She was glad to be back on the speedy little cutter that Tiberius had named for her sister, it was the one place she truly felt at home. Another world away….Tokuno Admiral? Yes Commander? Said Fleet Admiral Hawke, with a weary breath, for almost a month now he had been getting the same reports. Sir yet another ship has attacked the islands. I have no clue how they are getting passed us. We are running the patrol just as you ordered. Tempus put down his writing stylus and looked up to the commander of the Bozeman. Well we have tried everything to keep them out and yet they still attack, that leads me to one thought. They are not getting passed us. Commander Smyth looked at Tempus and it dawned on him. They are attacking from the island, we will begin looking for an inlet that would allow them a place to hide. Make it fast Commander, people are getting starting to get scared. Aye sir! Smyth saluted and left to room. Tempus leaned back in his chair at the Zento station, Greyylenes Zento station now, its looks had changed a lot, but Greyylene had done a great job with it. He looked out the window to the Endeavor, a beautiful ship, and his, he never thought he would get his sea legs but after commanding the Exeter in the Magencia battles and then the Endeavor at Port Baldmor, he had learned what Tib and Greyy had known all along, the sea was life. He missed the sea spray hitting his face, and the surprising thing was, he was thinking about it. He never thought he would. Admirals log: These new pirates are making life here difficult, we have managed to engage three ships so far but have nothing to show for it. These new pirates wont be taken alive, so I have not had the opportunity to interrogate one. At first we thought that it was the Red Guard causing trouble again, but we soon came to realize that this was a brutal group. And there flag, I used to think the skull and crossbones on the jolly roger that DAGR flies was bad. This looks like a dragons head pierced with a sword on a blood red background. I fear this will be bigger then the war with DAGR ever was, and more lives will be needlessly lost. End Log entry Guardians Gate…. Tiberius sat at his desk staring over at Roland's cell. He had not had an update from Franklen yet, nor could he find the log that he had asked Franklen to keep. The sky began to darken rapidly and within moments it was as dark as night, thunder rolled in the distance and a great bolt of lightning struck close enough to momentarily light up the room, in that moment of light he saw the silhouette of Roland standing at his cell door. It looks as if the storm has arrived Tiberius. He said. ~The End~ ![]() Guild Leader of The 13th Legion |
