Ships Log:

It is with a heavy heart I pen this journal. The Commodore has made it painfully obvious that my actions have caused two of my crew their horrendous demise. I obeyed partially the orders I was given. My fault was to not check in when we arrived, my pride at not wanting to be treated as a child, my ignorance betrayed our presence and in so doing caused two of my crew to die. I will take the responsibility for the actions that lead to this, but I cannot honestly say I would change nor do things differently. Perhaps this is what Tiberius wants me to see.

I cannot say that I like the Commodore right now. He did not sit here watching the agony on my crewmen's faces. I sat between them, one on either side of me, so they would not be alone in their suffering. Neither have families, I hired them from Buc's Den for that reason exactly. They began with me as mercenaries and to the end I will not leave them.

Dezynge, the Champion of the Ruins, ruined lives and broken chests perhaps. He was a tall Drow elf with one sagging ear and a slight limp. As a Drow male he looked at me to be his 'matriarch' more so than his Captain. He followed me into places that Angels fear to go. Somehow we always made it out again in one piece. His final words to me as he held my hand were to cheer up. I could watch the skin burn off his body and he told Me to cheer up. He laughed at death as it stole his many years. Honestly I don't even think he knew how old he was.

ArauthNym, the Sneaking Watcher, how appropriate for a spy, he may not have been my best man, but he was decent and enjoyable. He must have been one of the most klutzy elves I have ever known. If there was an accident to happen most often he was behind it. He acted as our tail and cover on Magincia. His wounds were harsh as the damage was to his face and chest. Even the little whimpering groans caused immense pain. I held his hand the whole night even long after he was dead. Such long fingers were so talented in the gentle art of relieving one of their valuables. Their deaths are my remorse.

Alright, Commodore, I was wrong.

Respectfully submitted

Greyylene
