PaxOku City is located on Homare-Jima, Tokuno Islands (Chesapeake shard). The city was founded as an outpost of PaxLair city on Nov 3rd, 2004. PaxLair City was founded in Fel North of the Chaos shrine in the year 1998. At that time PaxOku was known as the PaxLair Tokuno Outpost. It would within a year come to be known as PaxOku City on June 20, 2005. The city name PaxOku means: "The Place that PaxLair Founded" or more literally "Peace was Put/Created Here". Minister of Knowledge Neo of Lothlore researched and suggested the name.

PaxOku is an open door roleplaying city. All are welcome to come to the city and partake in anything from events to roleplay story lines.To get into contact with any government official all you need to do is click below. Guilds of the city are not run by PaxOku. Nor does PaxOku city run them or try to. They are guilds that join the status of "City Guild." They are citizens of our city that work with and adventure with our city. They do not need to be "Allied" to become a city guild.

City guilds get a representative on the city council. They help with new laws and decrees for the city. Help build the community and events in the city or its outposts. The position is also their guilds voice within the government of PaxOku.

PaxOku city is not a guild. It is a community of guilds, groups and individual people. PaxOku city only works with a community and not one large guild. Which is why our city welcome so many different people with diverse backgrounds.

You may wonder, "Why would I want to be a city guild?" With each guild that joins our city we gain a larger community. More people working together and finding new and enjoyable things to do. It makes a sense of community and all of us bettering ourselves as well as our guilds.

One thing PaxOku wishes to remain neutral on is Fel guilds. We do have an open door policy on Roleplay and being apart of the city. However Fel PvP red guilds being considered apart of PaxOku city would be a destructive force. Within that area of our world we do wish to remain neutral and welcome anyone to be apart of the city but, not guilds as a whole.

Our city has many things to offer you from a City Park to a great City Government. Below you will find a few things we have highlighted for you to look at. If you have an interest in our city or just want to know what we are about, then please take a few minutes to read what we have for you.

City Welcome Center:



The PaxOku Welcome Center. Located in the Blue Light Tavern of PaxOku. When exiting the Homare-Jima moongate to the East. Our city establishments, history, Citizen Bios and more are written down in the books. Feel free to read them all if you wish or the things that interest you. Any questions please post on our uoforums or our ingame message board.

Blue Light Tavern



The Blue Light Tavern is one of PaxOkus oldest and well known Taverns. Running events Every other Sunday and Wednesday nights. Owned and operated by Mayor Gareth and Miss Kayi. The building itself houses the Welcome Center, Tavern, Rune Library and ONN (Oku News Network) Offices. The Tavern is staffed with Bartenders and Waitresses along with a twenty-four hour bartender.

Red Light Tavern



The Red Light Tavern is the Anti tavern to the Blue Light Tavern. Within the tavern you can find a not so nice bartender, pirates, necromancers, Dark Knights and all walks of the shadow. The place is not very well maintained nor cleaned very often....well if ever. If this is your kind of tavern then stop on in.

Silent Rose Library



The Silent Rose Library is PaxOkus first and only library in the city. It has the largest collection of player written books on Chesapeake. Tatania Karthina is the owner of the Library. She has been a Librarian all the way to a mayor of PaxOku city. In her library You'll find wooden boxes on the 2nd floor.. The Case numbers begin with one at the Western corner and go left to right. Silent Rose Stage



The Silent Rose Stage is located on the rooftop of the Silent Rose Library. Productions of "Gone To Wind" and "The Band" have been performed at this very stage. The theater compy is run by Lady Tatiana Karthina as well. She is always looking for new rising stars, production managers, screen play writters and stage hands. It is truely a one of a kind experiance. So stop on by for a show or even be in the show!!!

H-J Rune Library



The Rune Library is located on the second floor of the Blue Light Tavern. It houses runes from Trammel & Felucca dungeons, ore mining and wood chopping, Player run cities and establishments, Shrines and auction houses plus more.

PaxKratOku Auction House



The PaxKratOku Auction house is the first and only auction house built in PaxOku City. The Owners Miss Kayi of the (Pack Rat Auction) and Mayor Gareth of the (K&B Auction house) settled on the name when bringing both auction houses to the city of PaxOku. The auction house use to run every Wednesday at 9pm but, is now on retirement for a time.


PaxKratOku Vendor House



The PaxKratOku Vendor House is located on the first floor of the auction house. The vendors themselves are unlike over priced Luna vendors. They offer a carpenter,tinker and mason section for house decorations. A Garden section for grown plants. Armor and Weapons sections. Kegs, Bandaids, powder and every day use item section. Rent is free in the building and we encourage all to come. It is just starting to get on its feet. Soon it will be in full operation.

Old Fort Park



The Old Fort Park is location on the North-East side of town at the city limits. Here is a great place to write your latest novel, government speeches, gather your thoughts and ideas or just a place to relax and soak up the Tokuno Sun. From what we can tell the Park changes with the seasons. So dress warm to visit the park during the cold seasons.

Drunken Friar Brewery




Owned by Benito the guild leader and current sole member of the Drunken Friars (Fryr). The Drunken Friar Brewery makes the best wine and ale in the land. It has been suspected that this is where the Blue Light Tavern gets its great ale and wine from.


PaxOku City Government Buildings


Kijustsu Anei Village- Viceroys Office



Viceroy Neira of the Kijustsu Anei Village located in PaxOku has her office on the second floor of the Tomb Of Lost Knowledge. Neira was appointed as the Viceroy of the Village when it was created Aug 19, 2007 and named on Aug 21, 2007. The entire village is considerd to be the Anti Village of PaxOku City. It tis a place for all walks of the dark. The village is also exempt from PaxOku City Laws.

-Mayor Gareth appointed Neira as Viceroy of Kijustsu Anei Village on Augest 21, 2007.

PaxOku City Mayors Office



Mayor Gareth has his office built on the second floor of the City Courts and Crafters Hall (PaxKrat District) in PaxOku City. Our Mayor has been the First Viceroy Of PaxOku to Our Current Mayor.

-Governor Winfield appointed Gareth as Mayor of PaxOku on June 25, 2007-Current.

PaxLair Governor Office




Govenor Winfield of the PaxLair Statehood has one of his offices located on the Third floor of the Tea House in PaxOku. The Teahouse itself was one of the first buildings built in the city. Be warned to find the entrance to his third floor hidden office maybe tricky. *Smiles* The Govenor has a LOOONG history of jobs which are below.

USN Defense Fortress



The USN Defense Fortress was built in the Oku Heights District of PaxOku. It borders the Ninja and Ronin controlled areas. With them making advances towards our city limits the fortress was created to defend our Northern boarders. The USN has taken up our city defense. Tiberius Clearcastle the leader of the USN owns the Fortress building.

PaxOku Court House



The Courts are run by Judge Jupiter from RBG. The courts hear all city cases such as: Tax, property disputes, stealing, murder and many others. The city court is the first place cases go to. Some cases may be decided to be sent to the Statehood courts if the city court is unable to decide on a case or is unable to handel the case. Court dates are set by case so look at the calendars.


PaxOku City Council Building



The City Council was created to help govern the city. Mayor Gareth created district lines and council members to represent each district. Thus created the PaxOku City Council. The city council is lead by Katherine the City Council Chairwoman. The council meets every other Sunday at 7:45pm est on the Third Floor of the building. All council meetings are public unless stated otherwise.


PaxOku Municipal Building



The PaxOku Municipal Building is owned by Neo Of Lothlore. One of PaxOkus oldest citizens. The Municipal building houses one of the Statehood wides largest meeting hall. It is counted at a forty person seater. The meeting area is located on the second floor of the building.

The Balance



The balance is located on the Hill Rooftop of the Tea House building. The Teahouse is literally built into the side of the hill. The balance for some is a powerful place of meditation to those wishing to walk a neutral life. To others it is the PaxLair statehoods symbol of Neutrality.

PaxOku Citizen Home



Alot of the homes in PaxOku are citizens homes. We do however have medium and smaller spots that fit nice size homes open. Below is a picture of Silverfoots home. Besides being a city of Establishments and Government we are a city of residence as well.
