----PAXOKU CITY TAXES----

PaxOku Property Tax-

Each citizen owning property in PaxOku will have a weekly tax. Depending on the property size, taxes will very.

7x7 to 13x7- 25gp per week
13x18 to 15x12- 50gp per week
15x13 to 16x18 75gp per week
17x12 to 18x18 100gp per week

Property Taxes will go to the city to provide for: Emergency Situations, City Guards, Public City Building Renovations etc.

Town Safety Tax-

Each citizen living or belonging to PaxOku will have a weekly tax for protection.

100gp per week.

Protection Tax will go to supply armor, weapons, regs and repairs for the City Guard.

PaxOku Government Payroll-

Mayor Salary- 100gp per week
Deputy Mayor Salary- 50gp per week
Kijustsu Anei Village- 50gp per week

Chairlady Council Salary- 50gp per week
City Council Salary- 25gp per week

City Judge- 15gp per Trial

City Guards- 10gp per week

ONN News- 5gp per week



----PAXOKU TAXES & BUDGET LAWS----

Section One- =-Spending-=

The city may not go more then 15,000 gold into debt. Going beyond that point will send the city budget to the Statehood courts to be handled. The city can spend gold anyway it wishes.

The city may take out loans from the statehood or any bank. Doing so would not count against the city spending or put it into debt unless the loan is payment is not made.

Section Two- =-City Budget-=

The City Council and Mayor must agree on the new budget and new taxes each month. If it cannot be agreed on or overturned by the Mayor the city will go into a partial shut down. (See Section Five on city shut down.)

The city Budget includes the following. City officials Payroll, Animal/group protection, city maintenance, city owned places, emergency funds.

The city budget may only be based off of the following. City Taxes collected and Loans. No donations may be made to the City Budget.

Section Three =-Tax Collections-=

City taxes are due every Friday and Saturday. Meaning, You have from Friday morning to Saturday Night to put your taxes in your mailbox within your home.

(If you do not own a home a drop box will be created for you.)

Should you take over a building you will not have to pay taxes until the following week. Before the owner of the building moves out they must pay their final tax.

Section Four =-Failure To Pay Taxes-=

Failure to pay city taxes on time will be a charge of 50gold every day late.

Failure to pay within one week- You will be charged with tax evasion and a warrant will be made for your arrest. You will be sent to the PaxOku City High Courts to plead your case.

If you are found guilty of Tax Evasion the city may charge you for the following services.

-Warrant Charge- 500 gold
-Payment of Guards- 100 gold
- 50 gold each day you did not pay form the first day you were late until the last day of court.
-City Court Fees of up to 25,000 gold and/or up to 30days in the city jail.

(This will be on top of the City Courts charges and fines against you.)

Failure to comply with the City Courts it will move onto the Statehood courts.

All City and Court charges and fines will follow with you. on top of that the Statehood courts will add fines, charges and fees. The Statehood may also charge you fines and fees.

Section Five =-City partial Shut Down=-

The city of PaxOku must come to an agreement each month on a budget and to renew, add or take away city taxes. Failure for the city council and Mayor to do so will begin a partial city shut down.

What that entails-

-If it is to fall on a Friday or Saturday no taxes will be paid by any citizens. Nor will the city be able to collect at anytime for that week.

-All city public owned building will be closed down.

-City officials pay checks will remain on time causing the city to spend gold without collecting taxes.

-City Court system will shut down.

-All city works besides the Mayor, Deputy, Viceroy, City Council and City guards will not report to work.

-The city may not export or import any goods.

Section Six =-Full City Shut Down-=

Failure for the City Council and Mayor to agree on a new city budget and taxes after twenty-four hours of partial shut down. The city will go into a Full City Shut Down.

What that entails-

-All city public owned building will remain closed down.

-No taxes will be paid by any citizens. Nor will the city be able to collect at anytime for that week.

-City Guards will be taken off duty and will not return until its over.

-All payroll is suspended.

-The city may not spend any gold.

- City Universitys will shut down.

-All city taxes suspended.

-The city may not hold any city sponsored events.

-All government will shut down.
(All titles and offices will be striped.)

-Only the City Mayor and Council Chairmen will be on staff.

-The city will be charged 5,000 gold per day every day it is shutdown to the Statehood.
