Yes, but not sure an ea one.

I still think UO lives from an ongoing storyline and that is what ea has been missing most. So I am still looking for different options.

I would, if they hadn't misplaced the code for it.

I would never play on an unapproved shard these days, I pay EA to not fiddle with my information, willingly sharing GUIDs and the like doesn't appease me, and the last thing I want is some freeshard owner having my IP.

The ISP I have has built in firewalls in the central nodes...but....you never know.

Last thing I need is to deal with more problems.

No... I DIDN'T join UO when it came out because I had had my fill of griefers and gankers in MMO's. I want to have fun WITH other people, not be the target of some jerks who want to have fun at other peoples expense.

Not sure what exact publish changed things, but there are more griefers and gankers now than their were before the stat loss changes. If pre 16 is pre stat loss I would play because back then, gankers and griefers were few and far between because all the leet dude pvpers didn't want to be red because of stat loss.

Honestly, Pre UO:R is the best shard, and if its not pre UO:R I wouldn't play it. I picked yes, but not as my main shard because the world would be VERY limited compared to the one now, and I feel that expansion and progression, new monsters, new areas, new things to do in a game is what makes it fun. Older shards were fun at first when the game was new, but I am not sure how interesting it would be now.

If pre 16 isn't pre stat loss, then I wouldn't bother playing it.

Maeglid i think your statement is sooo wrong. UO was nothing like that before.. It was a world back then.. something you cant call it anymore because its safer than a condom on a diaper at moment.. Sorry for the expression but its true.

Im not sure if it would bring me back if a such shard would come... What UO had.. will never come back.. The feeling of a real world will never be again

actually, I'm questioning the 'before uo came out MMOs' bit...umm there WEREN'T a lot of MMOs before UO...I fail to see how you're able to make a comparison.

The answer is no..... I wouldn't...... Don't care to work really hard to have some jerk steal everything I worked hard for in 2 seconds... Don't care to have to worry about coming home and having some twit hiding on my porch and sneaking into my house to gank me and steal my house.... don't care to have to travel in packs just to do anything without getting whacked by some roving PK who just is out to kill me..... I happen to truely enjoy house design and deco..... I also very much enjoy having a secure bank box, Secure trade, Secure home.... list goes on and on and on.....

umm, deco was a very profitable and legitimate business then...the topic is about pre-16, not initial release...Actually though, I liked having to detect hidden my house before I unlocked the door and went in...part of why I choose to live in fel, you still have to do that ^^ but different strokes for different folks.
