[Lake Superior] The Books of Sin

Posted: Thu Aug 16, 2007 12:17 pm Post subject: The Books of Sin: Lake Superior History

The Book of Coveteous was given to Brother Philip of the Empath Abbey
and was told to deliver it to Nox Ordo at the Lycaeum. Philip was taken
by boat by the Guardians and the LBL. They encountered small resistance
by the Shadow, Gobbo, and some of the Band (Gobbo's name for his little
group of misfits). The Book was then given to Leairn Aleary for
safekeeping. Eric the Red was temporarily possessed by the Shadow and
the two books owned by Nox Ordo were split between BloodClot and
Gwydion.

The Book of Despise was found in Trinsic by some evil guild lady, and
she turned the book over to the Shadow. The Shadow surmised that the
Book of Despise is what was caused all the hatred during the Rebellion
between the humans and orcs. Book is destroyed now.

The Book of Destard was found in the Yew Crypts by the Guardians. Eric
and the Shadow both determined that the book would appear in the Crypts.
The evil forces present were beaten by the Guardians. The book was
eventually given to SIM, and destroyed.

The Book of Wrong was found by the Shadow before the Rebellion in
Trinsic. He has hinted that he used the book to convince Calandryll to
ally with the FOD, why else would he have sided with orcs and vampires?
The book was given to the High Court as evidence during the Shadow's
Trial.

The Book of Shame was found in the dungeon Shame by a friend of Jonn
Goodthorn's and was given to him. The book was not destroyed by Kelrot,
having been taken at the last minute by someone.

The Book of Pride was found by the Loyalists in the library behind the
Lich throne room at the bottom of Coveteous. Rake Driftwood eventually
gave it to Eric the Red for safekeeping. He found no need for the book
because he was arrogant enough already. Book was taken from Nox Ordo by
the Shadow and possibly now owned by either BloodClot or Gwydion.

The Book of Hythloth was found by Eric Windrider. Sam the Barkeep had
fished up a message in a bottle with some map coordinates to a treasure
and some book called the Book of Hythloth. At his "Sextant at the Beach
Party" in Skara Brae he announced the coordinates and folks hopped in
their boats to find it (it was located at a little bitty island) Eric
Windrider found it and sold the book to the Shadow (such a greedy little
good guy). The Shadow holds the book currently. It has been used in the
past to kill Bob the Baker and keep his soul from resurrecting. He has
used it to bring Dawn Desire back to unlife (he was in an odd mood that
night) and currently uses it to help him take over people's bodies.

The Book of Deceit is also in the Shadow's hands. Someone found it and
gave it to him.

(Many thanks to the Library of Knowledge for comprising this for me)
