The hustle and bustle of Zento’s shipyard was momentarily disturbed by the sudden appearance of a blue magical gate in the middle of the shipyard and the sight of two figures stepping from it. The Zento Shipwright's workers curiously inspected the two new arrivals..... until the Shipwright Magosuke appeared yelling at the workers to get back to work. The Shipwright quickly made his way over to the two waiting figures. Magosuke easily recognized the man, he was Lord Havok of the 13th Legion, who had commissioned Magosuke to build a large warship, the first of it's kind or size to ever be built at Zento's shipyards! Most likely he was here to inspect the new ship. The woman, an attractive female elf dressed almost completely in red, must be Lady Darth Oni, the Mayor of SilverVale, as the two were known to travel together often. “Greetings M’lord and M’lady” he said as he walked up to them. He bowed slightly to each of them, then standing straight again he smiled “I assume M’lord you have come to inspect your ship?” he asked “It has just returned from it’s sea trials, which it sailed through with no problems” He chuckled at his play on words, but neither of his guests seemed to have caught it, they were both busy admiring the ship. ![]() Lord Havok’s eyes flowed over the ship resting at anchor in the harbor, a brief smile played across his usually stoic face. His green eyes seemed to glow as they drank in every detail of the large ship. Darth Oni standing next to him also inspected the ship “It is very impressive!” she said. “Aye M’lady, it is a well crafted vessel, the first of three that shall be built here.” Havok replied. Darth Oni glanced at Havok, surprised to see him displaying so much emotion over a simple ship. Catching sight of her glance Havok quickly glanced at the shipwright, who was busy admiring the ship, and then pulled himself out of his reverie. “Remind me some day M’lady to tell you of my childhood, I spent a good deal of it around ships.” Havok quietly said. With a bemused look upon her face Darth Oni turned her attention back to the ship. “Magosuke you said she passed her sea trials?” Havok asked. The shipwright pulled his gaze from the ship and turned back to Havok. “Aye M’lord, with flying colors she passed….and she is ready for delivery whenever you are ready for her.” Havok nodded, the slight smile reappearing “Very well, early tomorrow expect one of my men, Wraith is his name, to come for her. You have a crew lined up for her like I requested?” looking a little uncomfortable the shipwright answered “Aye M’lord……but I must remind you these sailors are off of merchant or fishing vessels, they have no experience on a warship….which your ship obviously is.” “Do not worry Magosuke, the crew is simply needed to ferry her to a new mooring, and thank you for assisting me with that as well." "When shall work begin on the other two ships?” Havok inquired. “Almost immediately M’lord, now that we have built one ship it will go easier making the next few.” “Very well Magosuke, see that it is outfitted before Wraith arrives tomorrow, and please let your men know how pleased I am with the ship,” pulling a small pouch from his belt Havok handed it to the Shipwright “they did an amazing job on the ship and I would like you to distribute this gold to them as a bonus” pulling another pouch from his belt Havok held it out to the shipwright "and this is for you Magosuke for a job well done!" The Shipwright took the pouch from Lord Havok "Thank you M'lord, it has been an honor to build such a ship for you." Magosuke bowed once more and turned and started walking back to his office. Havok turned to Darth Oni “If you would be so kind as to open a gate to Sanctuary M’lady I would appreciate it.” Grinning Darth Oni turned and began walking back up to the road “ I shall gladly gate you, but let us go here where the ground is flatter.” Havok turned and began to follow Darth Oni “M’lord, Wait!!!” shouted the shipwright. With a curious look upon his face Havok turned to regard the shipwright “Well…what is it man?” He asked. “The name sir…..” Magosuke responded” what name shall we place upon your ship?” Lord Havok turned to face Darth Oni and raised one eyebrow speculatively. Darth Oni grinned at him and nodded. “Very Well” Havok said to her and turned back to face the Shipwright “The ship’s name is The Leviathan!” ~The End~ __________________ ![]() "The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist" -Charles Baudelaire Last edited by Lord Havok; 24-04-2008 at 08:13 PM. |

Riding in a fury through the streets of Zento Lord Havok made his way to the shipyards. Upon reaching the yards he wasted no time greeting Magosuke, the shipwright, but instead rode directly to the shoreline. There he gazed upon the two new warships nearing completion. ![]() The Council had just recently invaded Cove and he needed these ships completed. Turning his mount he rode back towards the Shipwright "How long?" He asked the shipwright. Magosuke was surprised, and more then a little nervous. In the past when dealing with Lord Havok the man had always appeared normal but now his skin was corpse white, he seemed shrouded in shadows with just two brilliant green eyes glaring from beneath the cowl. "Th-th-the first ship is scheduled for sea trials tommorrow morning M'lord and the second ship is to follow two days later" The nervous shipwright answered. "Not good enough, both ships will begin their sea trials tommorrow at dawn..." Havok began, only to be interrupted by the Shipwrights startled exlamation "Impossible.....I-I am sorry M'lord but we would have to work the rest of the day and all through the night to accomplish that....and even then it would be close, ....I'm Sorry Sir, but we simply can not do it!" The flustered shipwright replied. Turning his mount back towards the road Havok paused and turned to the shipwright "Magosuke, I have faith that you and your men can pull off this near impossible task that I have put before you, in fact I am willing to bet your souls on it!" Turning forward Havok began to ride back towards Zento's moongate. As he rode off he yelled back to the flustered Shipwright "But don't worry Magosuke-san, when you DO succeed you will be justly rewarded!" As Lord Havok disappeared back into the heart of Zento the shipwright turned and began hollering for his men to get back to work on the two vessels. __________________ ![]() "The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist" -Charles Baudelaire |
