Dear SIlvervale

After reading the IC story on the 13th Leg section. We have not infact gotten any word from Oni about a deni or acceptance. So I wonder why it was written even after Oni said No that I built a house.

I built a house to roleplay with Silvervale but, I now plan to demolish it sometime today. Already from what I was reading in the story seems to complicated and messy for me to even want to roleplay with Silvervale at all.

I however do not plan to deni my own citizen who built a 18x18 near Silvervale since its been Dead for so long and he has lived there before silvervale got a new mayor and started becoming active.

But, I do not wish to act like a child and be spitefull. I do however plan to give Karthina the rights to place upon his home a PaxOku name.

Should you want this building to be listed in your city and if you do not depends on which name you would chose.

It can be a PaxOku City Embassy which would mean it is a building apart of Silvervale

Or

It can be an outpost which means it is not apart of silvervale and belongs to paxoku city and is governed by us.

After thinking about asking for an outpost before that didnt seem like the right name to put upon it.

Also option three is that Karthina can do whatever he wishes with the house.

~Gareth

PS. Yes I know Wizard of ID hates me and Hates PaxLair. So I really do find it very hard that our citys can even interact with eachother. Maybe this is something that needs to be discussed with Oni the Mayor and our governor and city Mayors.

(Lets not all start offending eachother and thinking their is some kind of evil plot going on.)

:-)

Re: Dear SIlvervale

I respect your right to respond to my story in my forum, and I have corrected my story to reflect the facts.

I think posting here was unnecessary , I also think this:

"PS. Yes I know Wizard of ID hates me and Hates PaxLair. So I really do find it very hard that our citys can even interact with eachother."

was uncalled for....

Please do not penalize Darth Oni for my story, and in the future I would appreciate it if you would contain a issue to the forum it originated on.

Re: Dear SIlvervale

To have people that do the right thing even when your not around is a great thing.
For the record.
Gareth, I do not hate you. You are however, a worthy nemisis. You know as well as I do that we have spoke with civility on as many occasions as we have spoke Ill about eachother. As far as Paxlair goes. I do not hate Paxlair. Paxlair is and has always been the pillar to which all other player run towns have been judged. My issue is with some of the human element that transpires in the subsidary towns. People are People, and without people, there would be no players, and without players there would be no game. They have their own opnions and their own agendas.
With this in mind. I call for no more bickering between you and I Gareth.
My personal opinions are not the driveing theme in Silvervale. I have great people like those on this site that are part of the team. If people from Silvervale want to interact with Paxlair and vice versa thats fine. But they should interact with Paxlair; and not, possibly, the agendas behind it.
I would hate for people to be given a negative persona just becuase they worked with me on a project. Just as I would be dishonerable in maligning you in the presence of people who do not know you or have had no contact with you.

I hope this brings some peace.

Re: Dear SIlvervale

No Ill feelings Wiz. Past is the past and lets look to the future. I am glade to see Silvervale alive and player run citys making a come back.

Also I must admit that I have competed to do things better then you in the game. I started when I was (13 or 14) which im 23 now yes, I have played this game long. I use to sit next to Themicles (SH) and you were always doing something and I use to say Im gunna do what he does and im gunna do it even better.

So in reality (Gosh I cant believe im admiting this) I looked at how you did it and based you as what to look forward to. Which I also did with PaxLair....Oh boy here it comes again this admiting stuff.

I use to watch PaxLair daily and umm pk and try to steal peoples recall regs *Cough* and I tryed to start my own city of Backwash by the Fel Brit Cem....hehe bad idea. Then that got a foot stomped on it when I got into it with LoV and *Cough* The Sillyhood was kinda allied to them.....

Okay so Long story short.

I have always wanted to do what you and PaxLair did but, I always wanted to do it better. I strive for my city to be the best and hold a standerd. SO thats me in a nut shelll!

Re: Dear SIlvervale

Silvervale is an almost ghost town at the crossroads north of the Compassion shrine in Trammel on the Chesapeake shard. It once thrived, but key members of the population and government seem to have left the lands of Sosaria. While some of their houses still stand, their presence has not been noticed in years.

Re: Dear SIlvervale

Well they still have the Bach and Ladies ball..... I think its still called that. Plus they host an alliance event once or month or something. Silvervale is small but it still has Mayor Oni leading it so it is not dead.

Re: Dear SIlvervale

"almost" & "ghost town" are most likely words that could be applied to many player-run towns now a days, except when said towns are holding events.

SoSV is slowly growing and it's members are starting to place within Silvervale.

I would imagine that rebuilding a well known, historic, city is no easy task.
