Poetic Temp Off Air :/

Welp,

Long story short, Breaker Box on fritz, need to call landlord, half power in house.

Long version: Where should I begin, well yesterday I guess the power went out while I was asleep around 3pm EST Saturday evening. Well the oldest daughter called her mother and said there was no power, well her mother then gave the response of "What do you want me to do about it from work?, try checking with the neighbors to see if their power is out too, to see if it's our breaker or if it's a neighborhood thing, if nothing else wake Michael {That me} up."

Weeeeellllll the oldest daughter went to the neighbors house and they still had power but we have the kind of neighbors you can borrow milk/cup of sugar from and all that good stuff so Rick {The man of the house over there} came over to take a look at it so I wouldn't have to be woke up. Well he gets here goes down in the basement and flips the breaker and I guess according to him some sparks and a funny burning smell emitted from the main breaker. So he sent the kids up to get me.

I'm now awake and a little bit cranky, I like to wake up when I'm ready to wake up not when people feel I need to be awake lol. Anyway I get down there and he's explaining things to me and I go down there and take a look at it, all seems fine enough to go ahead and run it as is until we could contact the landlord about it. There was a little warmth but nothing I would call hot per say as he was saying it was and I flipped it 2-3 times and didn't see any sparks. Well then about midnight or better known as "First thing Sunday morning" while I was on the PC and very into a round of poker for RL money POOF......Darkness, power out again. Loooooovely *curses*

So being that for WHAAAATEVER reason we have not one flashlight in the house that has working batteries I grab the GF's cell phone and just put it on a white screen and let the light emitted from it guide me onward in my path to the breaker box.

This time however, I flip the main breaker.....crack! spark! and this time I felt the heat that was described to me. *thought in head* Well F**k me......

Okay well I flip it a couple times after I let it cool a minute and well I'm now only getting power to 1/2 my house. 1/2 meaning only the over head lights and a ceiling fan in the front room working. No power at all to the upstairs and only 2 out of the 3 outlets working in the kitchen, the 1 not working being the one for the Deep freezer, refrigerator, and Microwave. Thankfully the washer and dryer are still on outlets that work as well, and for whatever reason the 2 little ones room is fully powered.

So basically the PC's, no power, The TV's, no power, the Internet, No Power......long story short the only things working....

Kitchen Over Head Light
Stove outlet and outlet next to it
The 1 and only outlet in the kids room
Overhead light in Kids room
Over head light in Dining Room
Washer and Dryer Outlet

And yep that's about it, so what I have done is run some long orange industrial extension cords from the kitchen outlets that work to power the items that I want power too.

Basically resulting in us pulling 10 gallons of juice from a 1 gallon jug until we can contact the landlord lol.

I currently have internet and PC but it's not a stable power source right now and flickers from time to time, not effecting my PC so much as my internet goes off for about 10-20 minutes every time the flicker happens and then runs like dial-up for about another 1-2 hours after that, not steady enough to hold a radio stream I know that much.

Anyway sorry I can't be on the air for you all but I'll get this issue resolved as soon as humanly possible at this point it's will soon be in the landlords hands and hopefully he will get it fixed very very very soon lol.
