Anyone ever wonder why any age person is allowed to violently and brutally murder anyone in roleplay? No one thinks twice about PvP. What is THAT teaching kids eh???

I was creeped out my first time in UO when I was ripped off and then PvPed before I was a day old, probably by some snot-nosed, hormone-raging, pimply-faced adolescent. pththt....

I am usually a live and let live kind of guy...but anyone..ANYONE who would hurt or molest a child either in fantasy or in real life is just sick, and in my opinion has no place in any society virtual or otherwise

What ever happened to good old fashioned parenting? Why would a parent allow a young teen/child on the computer with no supervision? Plus there is a mature language filter in WoW. Turn it on for your kid. If they turn it back off, then turn the game off, period.

The internet is a great teaching tool! My nephew basically learned everything he knows from his mom propping him on the computer and letting him have a go at his hearts contempt. He played games, built websites, and even did the dating thing. Only thing I gotta say is that predators are our there and don't take anyone you talk to online seriously.

I think what happens online is a type of freedom but once it turns into something offline...then its real.
