I'm a mage fan through and through, especially now that my frost bolts crit over 1k. I really enjoy the warrior though, there is a certain finesse that comes with doing well pvp wise with a warrior.

I've always been a fan of playing the "Ranger" type classes and I do enjoy a good Rogue RPing.

In Everquest my 2 main characters were a Ranger and a Rogue

In UO my 2 main characters are a Tamer and a Ninja/Thief

and now in WoW my main is a Hunter

I enjoy the RP of a rogue the best but I enjoy the play ability of the Ranger classes cause basically they are just the rogues of nature

I'd have to say the rogue was fun, the hunter was more fun, and last night I rolled a warrior due to the lack of tankage in guild currently. I think I will enjoy playing him...already like the armor being greater at lvl 6 than my 22 hunter

Pets serve as tanks as well. Play the class that you have the most fun with.

Mage > everything else.
PvP wise ive watched a lvl 64 mage kill 70's and one of those fights was a 3v1 with a demon spec 70 lock.

PvM wise, we have the 2nd best AOE in the game, out damage is far more constant then any class and will outdamege any class if played correctly with the right cycle of spell, exmp- Fireball, arcane blast, arcane blast, fireblast, fireball, arcane blast arcane blast Ect-

Sheep... ZomG sexy pvp and pve.

Arcane Brilliance, GREAT buff would not raid without it.

Then depending on your race, me being a troll.
every 3 min I can pop beserk, and if my trinket and gem proc my Pyroblast turns from a 8 send cast to a 2.5
