What's your BOD system?

Alright, I hit 95 tailoring today. I have a few more hours of work still to GM, but I enhanced my first item today and I'm ready to start making some lower level suits for my mage. I would like some of the BOD rewards. It seems like the odds of even getting a large BOD are slim? How do you do it? Where do you get the large BOD books that I see people organizing them in, or how do you keep them organized?

Re: What's your BOD system?

CONGRATS on the 95 your almost there!!

BOD books are player made with the inscription skill ... if you are on sonoma I will be glad to give some for your organzing ...

I am one of those who over organizes but works good for me ... for small bods ... start with one book each for cloth, normal leather, spine, horned and barbed.... then one for your large. From the 5 basic ones you can then add more if you find yourself becoming a bod trader/seller example ...
Cloth & leathers all have 3 sizes ... 10 - 15 - 20 ... and they have normals and exceptionals so you could end up with books for each size and type of cloth/leather .... its really endless on how you can organize

as for how to get larges ... you just have to keep turning in smalls ... don't forget to ask for your bod before you turn in one .. and then right after you turn one in ask for another ....

as for rewards .... you can also have BOD books for your larges for reward turn ins .. like .. a book just for the clothing bless deed reward bods ...

Tower of Roses still has the best (in my opinion) reference for bods and the rewards to go with them ... Tower of Roses - BOD Rewards

Good Luck

Re: What's your BOD system?

BOD books can be made with the inscription skill. If you do not have inscription on any of your characters, well someone on your shard should be selling them on a vendor. BOD books should not run you more than 500 gold each, if that. Far as collecting them? Well is this your only tailor? If so it is going to take you sometime to gathering bods. See if you can find any cloth smalls ones for sale on your shard. Buy them then turn each one in for a new bod. As really only 1 cloth large is worth keeping (20 exceptional town crier set) which gives you a clothing bless deed.

I also use this program to keep track of my bods, both tailoring and blacksmithing: Nystul's Notebook

Also to make the best armor possible you need to have gm armslore on your tailor. At gm armslore you get added resists to each piece you make (+5 overall resists)

Re: What's your BOD system?

Well, it took me another 2 hours. Oil cloths took me through 99.6 and then I noticed that my chance to make them was 100% so I switched to ninja hoods and GM'ed. I've been asking for BODs as I go, so I have a few built up.

I do have inscription on my mage so he should be able to make the BOD books with some success (he's at 78 insc)...

Most of my characters haven't hit the skill cap, so I'm thinking about adding a .1 in tailoring to the other four and go and collect them that way, too.

All very good tips, thanks!
