Help with Large BOD

ok I just hit 100 tailoring. I got my first BOD and it is a large one. have to make 20 items of like 4 different things. Here is my problem: It wants me to combine it with smaller contracts? When I speak with other NPC tailors it says I must wait so many minutes before I get another. - Now my real question is "How do I get these smaller contracts to combine with the Large one??

I've read up on tailoring but I cant find the answer.

Also can Runic sew kits be recharged? I seen one on a vendor with 30 charges but was expensive. Is this the only way to get LRC made armor?

You should be able to see a checkbox with "Combinbe this deed with another deed". I would think that's how.

Re: Help with Large BOD

You have come accross the difficult part of BOD collecting. You must either collect or find and buy from player vendor the individual small BODs to fill before using them to fill your large BOD.

No there is not a way to recharge any runic kits. Yes using a runic kit is the only way for a player to craft armor with LRC. However you can get armor with LRC properties in monster loot.

You get the small BODs from the tailoring NPC's.
My suggestion to you, is you have to collect as many BOD's as you can. When I was first tailoring, Everytime I logged in I collected a BOD. You can sort these in BOD books. That way they don't take up so many lockdowns.

I also believe the wait time between BODs increases as your skill increases.

I did BODs to get the tailoring skill up. So, I was collecting them long before I GM'd. You have to be lucky enough to get the large bods to use the small bods on. Since the rewards are better for the large bods. What the NPC drops is random.

So, for example: to fill your large BOD. You have to have collected 4 small bods(identical to what is asked for) and then fill the large bod.

You can buy BODs from player vendors but I don't recommend that.

What I always did was filled all cloth bods, bought regular leather items to fill those, and crafted everything else. Now, remember for every filled bod you turn into an NPC you can get a new un-filled one.

I hope this helps....
What shard are u on? I can help get you started with some BOD's if we are on the same shard.

Re: Help with Large BOD

I wouldn't recommend buying small BODs off of vendors. Not unless you need like ONE MORE to finish your Barbed Runic Kit Large BOD.

Suggestions:
*Get BOD books. Inscriptionists can make them, you should be able to get one reasonably priced from a PC. (Or try posting what shard you're on! Someone might be willing to help you out!) In your BOD book you can click "set filter" to pick what attributes of the BODs you want to look for (Small/Large, Normal/Exceptional, 10/15/20, Tailoring/Smithing, Ingot Type, Cloth or Type of leather). The default is "all".

Visit towerofroses.de and take a look at the BOD reward list. Decide which BODs *YOU* feel are worth keeping!

Collect BODs! As many as you can! (I've heard of some people putting .1 tailoring on all characters, then you can get small cloth bods every hour)

Turn in small BODs (including the ones from your .1 characters) you don't want with your Tailor. After collecting your reward you can *immediately* claim another BOD from the NPC. Fill the ones you don't want, store the rest of them in your handy BOD book.

It won't take terribly long to stock up Spined kits are suprisingly easier to get than I had imageind, horned aren't impossible, but still not super common whereas you'll have to actually work to get those Larges & Smalls for your Barbed kits!

Once you get a lot of BODs, you may want to sort them by type. I have 9 currently in my possession, but that's because I just went through and organized them. I have:
-Normal Cloth
-Exceptional Cloth
-Normal Plain Leather
-Exceptional Plain Leather
-Spined (All)
-Horned (All)
-Barbed (All)

And two BOD books of BODs just to fill & turn in for better BODs (I had a lot given to me by someone who's not hugely into tailoring anymore, and I've slacked off a bit on my BOD filling until recently!)

No you do not, nor do I recommend you buying small BOD's.

You do have to keep collecting bods from the NPC until you have the requested small bods to complete your large bods.

Just keep going back to the tailor shop about 3-4 times a day and get a new bod.

What shard are you on??? I am on Catskills. If we are on the same shard I can help you out with BOD books and some bods to get you going.
