This Tuesday we gather outside the swaggers for 7:50pm UK Time, where we will await our ransom for the release of the Baron of the Britannia Guard. After that we will carry out militia duties followed by another patrol of West Vesper at 9pm to 10pm. Turn up in correct uniform and appropriately supplied!

Following the kidnapping on Saturday of the Britannian Guards Baron, today was the day we were expecting the payment of a ransom in the amount of 1,000,000 gold! We expected a straight deal, but the Captain wanted us all to be present incase they tried anything funny.. So we binded the Barons hands and took him outside on show, and we lined up along the building awaiting their arrival. Our own Baron made it clear if they tried anything funny, Escaflowne was to set his cats on their Baron and kill him.






The Royalists came from the beach direction, and they came armed and at some speed.. it then became obvious that they wern't here to pay the gold, but to break their Baron out. We were caught by suprise and we were easily defeated. But we lost more than the battle, we lost out on the chance of 1,000,000 gold and Lord Heath was far from impressed as the Captains cats also failed one little task, to kill their Baron..








This aside, we had a patrol to West Minoc to prepare for, our spies up there figure that is where the Royalists will be heading once their Baron is in safety. After this harsh beating, we called upon our allies Cove to come help us protect West Vesper from these brutes, and they answered our call. Together the northern alliance will fend off these fiends and keep West Vesper a free state.












We marched up to West Vesper in our numbers and awaited their arrival by the bank. The Captain wanted us to split into two groups, and them ambush them from both sides. Sadly when the fight started.. his tactics didn't really go to plan and we got absolutely slaughtered. Captain Escaflowne is on thin ice with the Lord Baron, one more defeat and he'll be in deep, deep !!!!.








This time the Captain told us to hold our ground and stay together. We did exactly so, taking out a few of the Royalists, but we were losing equally as many. When the battle started to clean up abit, the Royalists picked off our compact group, one person at a time until the group was just a couple of our men left, and they were given the run about. Hats off to them, they held out best they could, but it wasn't enough.. and we were defeated again. Although technically.. we won.. as the Royalists left West Minoc.. again.. so yeah.














Our return to Vesper was met with a debreif from our Captain. He was found quoting "We may not of won the battle, but we wont win the war".. speak about optimistic? The Lord Baron summoned the Captain to his office as we were dismissed, later we were informed that Escaflowne had been suspended for a week, and the Baron himself will be leading us into battle until then. Personally I think it'll be a good chance for the Captain to research battle tactics, because in all fairness.. he's slacking.
