Shipwrecked! (Pic intensive!)

As per the orders of Captain Escaflowne, I led the men towards papua docks, from where we would sail north towards the arctic in search of an evil drow egg smuggling ring. We had not sailed far before the wind started to pick up, and our tillerman lost control of the ship!

We began to explore the island, telling stories as we went.

We set up camp in what seemed to be the remains of an old settlement, but it wasn't long before we were greeted by another, rather more rude band of stranded soldiers!

We managed to trap several of the enemy in our cunning yew trap! Naturally, we treated them with great care and concern, as befitting prisoners of war.

Unfortunately we were forced to release them, and the Yewish took a prisoner of their own, our Baron Van Cocidius! I managed to fell a Yewish soldier, and taking his armour, snuck into the Yewish camp and convinced them that I had been ordered to move him.

I managed to free the Baron, but to be honest, it could have gone better!

I tripped over a small turtle, and the Yewish took the armour off me. Fortunately I'm from strong Vesper stock, and it takes more than that to put me down for long! I retired to our new camp and started trying to find a way off the island. I decided we needed to trade with the Yewish for tools and supplies.

We managed to trade two monkeys for a Yewish slave to chop wood for us. Unfortunately he didn't seem to like the idea, and tried to run away. He didn't get far.

Shortly afterwards some Yewish came to our camp and started a fight. I was forced to take a prisoner to stop them from destroying our camp.

The Yewish didn't take too kindly to this, and set fire to our ship, and the only way off the island!

I made the best of a bad situation, and using my amazing engineering skills and wood salvaged from the ship, I built us a majestic raft. Guess how that worked out.

Knowing that the Yewish value Gorillas, or Bobas, above all else, we decided to get our revenge on them by enlisting the help of an elite monkey suicide squad!

It ended the usual way.

Using my raft, the Yewish had managed to send two of their men to the mainland to get a ship. Once it arrived, I was bundled onboard and we set sail for Yew.

With my immense skill, I managed to free myself from the Yewish, and made my way back to Vesper. I was planning on chartering a ship to rescue the others, but it seems that they had already been saved by Captain Escaflowne and Tilly. All in all, I recommend that the plans for a Vesper Navy be scrapped. We're clearly bad at it.
