I miss you so much,my dearest,but as you know I had to travel home to tell the news to my parents.Mother sulked,my brothers teased,and father has done nothing but bellow.

He is sure you have led me astray,or made me with child,which horrified me as we have not even shared a bed yet,but thats country folk for you,always thinking the worst.

I suppose with families marrying their offspring,for monetary gain rather than love,leaves them suspicious .

I did tell them you was Captain of the finest militia around,and what an important job you do,but I havent told them yet about your links with nature and animals,or that you wear a bear hat.

Its not from shame I hold back,just letting them get used to the idea of our relationship first.

Father is insisting on meeting with you,before we get any ideas of marriage,so I had to keep that part of our news to myself also.

As for my mother,all she could worry about was that she would have no one to help her with all the chores.

I didnt dare point out to her ,that she chose to have 8 children,not I, so therefore should not have to cook and clean for them.

Anyway,they have been told of my feelings for you now,so once the shock settles,they will know what to expect.

I read the notice about tomorrows tasks,and I shall be back in Vesper early tomorrow morning.
