A few members of the militia and citizens of Vesper were sat warmly within the swaggers having a fine wine or a strong ale passing the time of this night. Unkown to the few militiamen that chatted peacefully within the inn, a large force of Yewish were waiting outside in a sturdy line.
One of the Swaggers workforce managed to spot the yewmen and ran inside the warn the rest. The crowd proceeded to the entrance of the tavern where they confronted one of the D'gars and the yewish force standing steady behind him.
Words were exchanged between the D'gar and Captain Escaflowne followed by a firebomb from partisan Kerith into the Ranks of the Yewish.
The crowd watched for a second or two behind the safety of an energy field as the yewmen scattered out of the fire. The folk retreated inside the swaggers to devise a plan to counter attack this army of ironclad warriors.
The Vesper militia portalled out of the swaggers to the town hall up the road where they would try to flank the yewish and lure them away from the swaggers leaving the inn and its workers in safety.
The plan worked and the Vesparians slowly skirmished the Yewish until their retreat was ordered.
The Swaggers was safe, the yewish were gone and the victory was Vesper's........but! It seems certain Swaggers folk STILL had to complain about something! This was the last straw.......

A big handful of militia were enraged for this and fed up.....Hanse came walking out of the swaggers red faced with anger......something had to be done! For years the Vesper Militia had taken complaints and insults from swagger folk after succesfully saving their lives and the swaggers countless of times and over stupid reasons too like burnt furniture! But that was it! Oh yes that was it....the militia demanded an audience with the Baron and they marched into the Town hall.



Insults were thrown between both sides, Kiran defended his side against the militia as the Baron Samsca of Olk tryed to keep order within the hall while listening to both sides. The militia and Kiran couldn't come to an agreement between one another which lead to the decision of the Baron listening to both sides seperatly.
Samsca of Olk told the militia not to go in the swaggers and to find a replacment socialising place in the mean time over the duration of this event. So they began work on a new tavern for the militia on the beach....



Significant efforts were made to construct this new tavern in order of it to be open as soon as possible before the men get demoralised even more than what the Swagger folk have done to them. The best vesper crafters gathered on the beach to build the tavern. But the help didn't stop there..... huge beasts known as gaman were used to haul the supplies down to the beach from stockpiles; and the greatest Vesparian Magi used their telekinetic magic to move the heavy objects into place.
After hours of hard work the tavern was complete, it just had to be furnished and stocked now. The Militia will have a new and perhaps better tavern in the near future to spend their social time.....
