Ye Morning Poste
Each day I will post snippets from the Morning Poste as reported the same or previous day.All entries will be accredited to who reported them.
Happy reading ![]() ![]() The Sunday Supplement - Brought to you by the Lovely Lola Rennt! [The news as contained in this post you can take as IC knowledge. However any posts it links to are purely OOC information, unless you happen to have a good explanation why you would know about them IC.] Flashing the Fashion Two Days of Clothing Craziness Nothing like clothing (and as you'll find out later, *nothing* is appropriate) and your fashionable reporter has just enjoyed two days of clothing and cloth-swapping amusement. The first was at VanQa's 'come as someone else' party. Liana won as everyone's favourite socialist - Gwyn Quiantly. However, your amused reporter was interested at the amount of double-looks Cecil managed to get in his Flame-red dress. A new sideline for him, perhaps? And then, on the isle of Nu'jelm a fashion show was held, with people coming from far and wide to over pithy comments and bitchy observations on the standard of 'clothing horses'. Third place was Arilana, with an interesting creation and combination of colour. Second place was the delightful Miss Stacy, a girl who seemed very comfortable in the clothing she was wearing. First place went to Lyim Rashidat, with Odenetheus fawning over him in a way that made some people uncomfortable - but Lyim seemed more than happy with the attention, and the fact that he has been confirmed the most eligible... eligible person around. A thoroughly entertaining evening - and no doubt one that will have some particular bearing on the ego of Lyim for some days to come. -------------------------------------- Our Crystal Spy challenges you to Find the Letches! Yes - darlings, this is what we call interesting reading for the weekend! All you little celeb-followers will be impressed when you hear what an anonymous benefactor sent to us. This information was captured in one of those speaking-sending-crystal-doodahds. It seems that their use is on the rise. Your darling reporter has dug into her purse, and will offer a cash reward of 500GP for information leading to the confirmation of the voices captured! Readers of a sensitive disposition may want to avert their eyes... But who are the bodiless voices? Well, it seems that the lands of Stonekeep were blessed when a useful source spotted two people 'going walkies' in a most unconventional way. It seems that the lady was naked, had a chain around their neck, and was being lead through the green and leafy Yew suburbs by a very pleased looking man. Our contact has supplied us with two names, but they're being witheld while we await further confirmation. Please - contact myself or the Poste if you can provide us with any further information! -------------------------------------- Letters to the Editor Dear Poste, First of all, let me assure any readers who might still have an objective eye that Lyim Rashidat is not, in fact, a charlatan. I happen to be a capable merchant, among other occupations and people do business with me based upon my considerable talents and abilities. Id like to know how I am termed a "cloak contractor", as I do not wear a cloak normally except on the coldest of days. Those people printing odd bits about my fashion sense should be wise to get their facts straight before putting pen to pad. As to the wedding of Quaintly and Dante, I have wished them all the best, as it would seem for once Quaintly is actually content, albeit with a clerk, but who am I to judge, no? ~ Lyim Rashidat - contractor (-just- contractor, thank you very much.) [Lola says: As our first article shows, Lyim is a follower of fashion, so let's drop all claims about this cloak business, hmm?] --- Dear Morning Poste and Staff, I find a section of your most recent addition rather offending, reffering to someone whom you know nothing of as a 'crony' is very rude. I am meerly a new Merchant in the City of Trinsic and have been working very hard to set up a business. I am being funded by small transactions such as the one made with Mr Rashidat and the soon to be married Quaintly. It is vexting to know that this is the treatment new Merchants recieve from your paper... especially since I was considering making you a fine offer of allowing you to use the Tinkers Building once more as your offices (as I now hold the lease to that building and plan on bidding for your equipment). If you wish to retract such a statement about my self as the one mentioned in this letter, and start to recognise people such as Mr Rashidat with the respect they deserve, I would be happy to start negotiations with you regarding the Tinkers Guild. Regards to you, Elessar Ancalime. --- To The Kidnappers, I would like for you to know the amount of ransom you wish to be paid has been agreed to. Please let it be known where and when you wish to collect this ransom. *Stamped with the symbol of a Serpant on a Chalice* --- Dear Poste, This is what I have to offer, a picture of none other than Odentheus and Tabbitha in a "private meeting". ![]() Please post this in your next issue as I feel the public has a right to know, this is a genuine picture.. signed, Anonymous [Lola says: When someone tells your darling reporter this 'this is a genuine picture' alarm bells generally go off. However, it does look like it has been captured using the latest Magic Methods, and since we've featured other information today from a crystal, we'll include this as well.] ![]() |

Happy reading ![]() ![]() Today's Edition - Brought to you by Molly Culliton "I'm Her Lover!" Vikor Tries to Throttle Squire after Empty Brag Anyone present at the West Gate of Trinsic last night would have witnessed quite a spectacle as hitherto well-respected Duchy-guard turned Duchy-paladin Pierre Vikor slammed the squire of busty Countess Gwyn Quaintly after the young knight-in-training jumped to defend his lady's honour following Vikor's assertion that they were lovers. Demanding to duel the acolyte-in-arms who he suggested looked as though he'd "been out in the sun too long", the bald and burly macer went on to insult another paladin known to have squired under the countess, named Mathias, as having '...started all this'. As the argument grew more heated, Vikor insulted the countess with the racist remark of "Wood nymph also.. perhaps that is where it lies.." as former sweetheart Gwynnie sobbed. There really isn't any doubt of his state-of-mind as he taunted the redhead with the words "You can take your Squire pretty boy here...and not bother to speak to me again. Go on now, this has been a terrible scene in front of everyone". Led in tears from the scene by squire Alex Covenant, the emotional countess was subsequently referred to as being 'inconsolable' over the breakup with Pierre. All Change in the Shadowcourt -Special Report just in from Lola Rennt! He's a she? Oh my! Following the clothing themed issue of this weekend, and Cecil's untimely cross dressing, it seems that Muldran Skully of the Shadow Court has gone one step further - or is someone playing a very bad joke. Your ever-present reporter spotted a right kerfuffle going on outside Trinsic this evening, with several members of the Shadow Court arguing with a green-haired, red robed woman. She was shouting about being Muldran, while the older gentleman (Bert) just generally leered at her. Cherry was trying to calm the woman down, obviously humouring the poor mad girl. Your magically-inclined reporter heard several troubleing words such as 'fae' and 'tree' - but it seems that the Shadow Court have taken the girl away and left her in the town of Rhovanion, with Cherry mentioning something about 'warding' and 'secure place'. ***** Announcement Notice of Quarantine It has been decreed that the town of Delucia and the surrounding lands are hereby placed under quarantine to avoid the spreading of disease and pestilence after the recent massacre of the town’s population and livestock. It is forbidden to remove any person or animal, be they alive or dead, or any object from the town or the lands. Any found trespassing or carrying items from Delucia will be captured and imprisoned whilst the quarantine lasts. Looters and thieves will be executed. Visitors are advised to turn around and return from whence they have come. Any who have travelled to, through and around Delucia in the recent days after the killing are advised to seek examination and treatment with their local healers. Furthermore, ore and ingot shipments from Delucia have been interrupted until further notice. Signed, Jonathan d’Orsay Earl of Delucia ------------------------------------ Letters FROM the Editor So, you're going to whine and whinge, eh? Here's your 'apology'. In reply to Lyim Rashidat's query as to why he was referred to in a recent edition as a 'cloak contractor', we are more than pleased to advise readers that those commonly known to supply goods to the Duchy are referred to as 'Duchy contractors' and those who supply rock and metals to Vesper are referred commonly as Vesperian ore contractors, regardless of their birthplace. If, for example, a woman was supplying rocks and was generally known to do so in her line of business she would quite commonly be referred to as an ore contractor...not as a "common 'ore" herself. I'm sure a 'capable merchant' with 'considerable talents and abilities' would be able to comprehend something that simple without getting his undergarments in a bunch lest someone read the phrase 'cloak contractor' and took from it that he was anything other than precisely that. -MC In response to the complaint from Mister Elessar Ancalime in which he found "a section of your most recent addition rather offending, reffering to someone whom you know nothing of as a 'crony' is very rude," we take great delight in directing him the the General Brittanian Dictionary where the word 'crony' is defined thus "...Crony (noun) : a companion, an associate, or one who accompanies his friends in their activities." Having witnessed the conversation from which we reported specifically, we based our assessment of the relationship between Messers Ancalime and Rashidat as being cordial purely on the repeated usage of the friendly abbreviation 'El' as spoken by Mister Rashidat instead of the more formal "Elessar" - who was apparently upset that his 'pal' would do business with anyone other than himself. I shall therefore not be wishing to retract a thing. I can suggest several things you can do with your lease for the Tinker's Guild however.-MC In reference to "Reporter Molly Culliton - I AINT best pleased Thats right, I am going to bust your kneecaps and shave your head bald if I ever again see you stealing my spot in this publication. Not only did you steal my spot.. you have tarnished my fine repution I have earned as a reporter... Keep ya eyes open becuse I will be there when you do expect it. (an Drunkard !!!!!!!)" Who do you think you are? Jack Bing? Bring it on, wannabe. - ![]()

Happy reading ![]() ![]() [The news as contained in this post you can take as IC knowledge. However any posts it links to are purely OOC information, unless you happen to have a good explanation why you would know about them IC.] Today's Edition - Brought to you by Betty Badoodle Well they say ' No news is good news ' but this is ridiculous. Its amazing how quiet and empty the mailbag is today, yet yesterday it was fair teeming to the brim.Apart from one letter which some how got dropped on the floor and almost lost itself under the makeshift press that has been set up. Better late than never I say...BB ------------------------------- Letters to the Editor Dear Editor I was horrified to see a so called 'genuine ' drawing of myself and Odenetheus in your last edition. To begin with may I remind you I am a married woman, and while my husband is away fighting to maintain the freedom of the lands and spread the word of the Virtues, I live a pure and chaste existence, centered around my work. I remain truthful to my husband,my bretheren and the Virtues. Yet again you include not only untruthful words about me ,but now also drawings, without first having the decency to approach me for a comment. It is apparent this farcical drawing was put together by some revellers from the recent 'Come as some one else' evening held by my dear friend Lady Vanqa. It is obviously some ones idea of a joke,to pose as others and utter such drivel and send it to the Poste for others entertainment. However I and I am sure Lord Odenetheus also, are not at all entertained. If you should know or learn the person(s) responsible I would be grateful to hear from you. Regards Lady Tabbitha Greywolfe (oooh keep your hair on Missus.Isnt there a saying 'theres no smoke without fire' ? We notice the gent in question does not protesteth too much ...BB ) ----------- Dear lovely people at the Poste, I just thought it might be a rather nice idea to let everyone know for future reference that some evenings at the Inn in Trinny, the nightstaff are a bit 'off' and doublebook rooms, specifically in this case the one at the end of the corridor on the right hand side. Having been given this room for the night, myself and my squire Alex retired there after a hard evening's drilling, utterly exhausted and fell sound asleep, with Alex being a darling and taking the floor and my taking the one bed in the room. You can imagine my confusion and upset when I awoke to find duchy guard Iljian standing over me watching as I slept. Now don't you get me wrong- I'm all for being protected by young duchy guards, but the whole thing was jolly unnerving, and poor Iljian seemed quite convinced that we were in his room regardless. The puzzling thing in all this is that as Alex said at the time - Iljian must in fact have been in the room all along, as Alex latched the door from the inside when we booked in for the night. I'm not sure was he under the bed or hiding in the chest, but if the latter's the case, we were jolly impressed with his collapsible halbard, and although upsetting and embarrassing at the time I have to say that Iljian conducted his confusion and mortification like an absolute gentleman. Why! He even turned 'round to let me put my dress on. Anyhow, lovely readery people, please please doublecheck the sign-in ledger 4 times when you book into the rooms at the Inn, because it really does cause quite a kerfuffle when the night staff fluff the bookings. Have a Happy! Gwynnie Q (' One ' wonders if it is actually the staff at the tavern ,who made the double booking.Maybe 'one' should check 'ones' social calendar a tad more closely then maybe 'one' would have more 'Happies' ...BB) ----------- Letter from an Drunken !!!!!!! So you try to gang up on me and take me out while im not looking. Well go ahead and try.. Ive been blindsided before and im still here. Keep it up and im going to stomp a waterhole on ya both and walk it dry... (Now ,now, there really is no need for such violence...is there? Be a good polite chap and Im sure our Ed shall see a few bottles are left to mellow your humour a little ...BB) ------------------------- ![]()

Exactly what possessed the Covians to offer Odenetheus – the former Covian churchman unceremoniously thrown out of the city not so long ago – the control of the company is beyond us. Happy reading ![]() ![]() [The news as contained in this post you can take as IC knowledge. However any posts it links to are purely OOC information, unless you happen to have a good explanation why you would know about them IC.] Today's Edition - Brought to you by the first timer, Lieabit Moore. Twothumb Begging for Forgiveness! But did he get it? Thats right ladies and gents! I start my career with the Morning Poste with a most interesting story! Two days ago, Twothumb, also known as the once Baron of Vesper, was handing out gifts! The good Baron was seen entering the jail to discuss unknown issues with Duke Irvyn (I think we all know what issues) on Wednesday. Later that same evening, with the Dukes permission naturally, the Baron was littering the floors out side of our most favored jail with gifts of all kinds! Your newest reporter was informed that these gifts were intended to pay back the Citizens of Trinsic for all the years of trouble and pain Vesper had caused them. Oddly some citizens seemed less than impressed with the gifts, Elessar Ancalime, the wannabe merchant, was noted to of claimed that the Baron was ruining his chances in the fur market! Personally I would very much like to know what the Barons personal gift to the Duke was, which was handed over before the scattering of all these other gifts. Your newest reporter was lucky enough to snag a few items him self! Trinsic Hold Our Equipment Hostage! Will the boss pay up though? As I strolled into the offices this morning to write todays eddition, I found this rather threatening note! It seems that Trinsic are trying to rob us of our gear! They say we owe them 3600 Gold Coins, and are demanding it be paied if we ever want to see our dear equipment again! Gosh! What ever will we do? Without that gear we can no longer write the Poste! The Knights Gather. That can only be a good thing? Right? Last night Trinsic was graced with the presence of Knightly orders from all over the land, including some from far off Ilshenar. Introductions were made between some of them, and many others greeted old friends. One is curious however about the presence of a chap who refered to him self as a Knight of Ni... strangely he seemed to hate the word Ni being used in any other sentance! Naturally one of the other, more mentally unstable, Knights took fair advantage of this weakness. What was discussed at the Knights secret location one can only imagine, we could assume it was just the same old thing that Knights do when theres nothing else to do, that being gather, pat each other on the back and hand out medals and promotion... obviously this was on a much larger scale. I even heared a rumour that the Knights were plotting some form of world domination. Letters to the Editor Official Notice If the owner of the poste wish to get their confiscated equippment back they they have to pay the outstanding 3600 gold until the end of this week. If this is not done by the end of this week all the things that have been found will be auctioned off, including the printing presses and all other material found belonging to the Poste. Kaelyn, Armswoman of the Duchy (Oh my! How will we ever live without our dear printing press!) Dear Morning Poste staff, After careful consideration I have come to the decision to offer my aid in aquiring your printing presses or what ever is used for the Poste. There for I would like to make the following offer: * All debts of the Morning Poste will be paid in full by Ancalime & Co. * The equiptment used for the poste will remain securely in the Postes possession. * The Poste may use the Tinkers Guild as their offices free of charge. * Ancalime & Co will do all in its power to fund The Morning Poste. In return for this generous offer I have only a few conditions which can be discussed if you decide to consider the offer. Please feel free to leave your reply in next eddition, or send a letter to our offices which are located south of Trinsic West Gate (Across the first bridge). Regards, Elessar Ancalime, 'Ancalime & Co' (Curious! I will have to forward this to my boss! But then how can you aford to pay for that if Baron Twothumb has stolen away your chance of trading in Furs?) A Problem Shared - with Gwynnie Q. Dear Auntie Gwynnie, I've had a few problems recently with a certain man, not relationship problems its a little more serious than that as this man has tried numerous times to kill me or my friends! The duchy guards know who he is and have punished him but he keeps managing to slip though their fingers only weeks later to come at me with some obscure murder attempt! I'm scared that he will end up badly injuring or worse killing one of my friends. As i said before the guards know of this, are there any other ideas you could give me to stay safe? Dear Anonymous Poppet, Oh you poor dote, that really is unfortunate. What a naughty chappy this fellow is to be prancing about like a wicked murdering type. He really does need a good spanking. I'm sure the super lovely Duchy Guards are doing all they can to keep you and your pals peachy, but just to be safe here are a few tips you can share with your chums that are bound to make everyone feel snug and safe and happy. 1. Safety in Numbers. Don't wander through dark forests all by your lonesome. 2. Hire a bodyguard. Preferably a big butch blond one as they are the best. 3. Eat a good Breakfast. It really is the most important meal of the day. 4. Always wear clean undies. Just in case you ARE butchered to death, wouldn't it be comforting to know that your corpse is clean and fresh and not the topic of scandal at the healers. Don't fret, Sweetykins, I'm sure it'll all be just dandy and you may just be suffering from acute paranoia. Have a Happy! Gwnnie Q. ------------------------------------ What’s On? Tonight: VanQa's Summon Contest, Trinsic Rose, 8:30pm onwards Tomorrow:Who knows? Why don't you let us know! ![]()

Murphy is BACK!!! ! A warning to all citizens Murphy "The Skinner" Jones, who was recently hung for almost caused our beloved Dukes death appears to have returned from the dead! Bone chilling news but this time Murphy isn't working alone he was last seen accompanied by two women, one of the women has long reddish brown hair and dark piercing eyes and the other was scarred on all visible flesh. And also to add to this traumatic news late last night a mutilated body was discovered by healers and it is believed this is the work of Murphy. Barricade your windows, lock all your doors! Murphy is back! Is it for revenge? Or to finish off what he started? Who knows? A single ray of hope... But to lighten the dreadful news of Murphys return the Baroness of Trinsic Moiraine has assigned a new lot of protectors for Trinsics trusty citizens. Happy reading ![]() ![]() [The news as contained in this post you can take as IC knowledge. However any posts it links to are purely OOC information, unless you happen to have a good explanation why you would know about them IC.] The Sunday Supplement - Brought to you by the Lovely Lola Rennt! Heard it through the Crystal? Crusade against Crudity Your darling reporter is the first to admit that she is never wrong. Has she ever been wrong about anything featured in the Poste? She thinks not. However it is with some trepedation that she sets down some words. After the wonderful article last week - which involved a man and a woman apprently involved in some pleasurable activities - further investigation has lead your noble reporter to believe that the woman was not a willing participant. This was not a bit of fun and games, but a hideous abuse of the woman's liberty. As noted, the man was Lance Sanders. Your distressed reporter would urge all members of the public who come into contact with the scoundral to give him a piece of their mind regarding his conduct in this matter - and that all ladies should steer clear of this foul felon. An Urgent Request to All Our Friends The Poste needs your Help! To all the parties who have expressed an interest in aiding the Morning Poste in its ongoing financial difficulties, In order to evaluate and decide on your proposals, we invite you to submit details of your offers to the Poste in writing, no later than by 9pm tonight. If you have already submitted a written offer, please re-evaluate it and ensure that it is still current and that it includes exact details of how you propose to help the Poste, the extent of your personal involvement in this venture, and any terms and conditions that may apply. You may resubmit offers as applicable; the latest proposal will be the one considered. All available Poste staff will meet at 10.30 tonight (Sunday) to discuss the offers and agree on the best way forward. Happy reading ![]() ![]() [The news as contained in this post you can take as IC knowledge. However any posts it links to are purely OOC information, unless you happen to have a good explanation why you would know about them IC.] TDon’t ask how, but Today’s Poste is brought to you on fine paper with the best Magincian ink by a breathless but contented Miss Molly Culliton. Hero Victimised by Duchy Guards Faust receives Abuse instead of Accolade. What IS with Trinsic’s finest that they are repeatedly so hard on green-eyed charmer Dirk Faust? Who was it that led the rescue party to the North to get back the Duke? Who was it that risked life and limb to save poor Sally Buttons from the brigands that kept her locked up and starving before trying to sell her off to pirates? And who was it that last night was savagely attacked by Kaldorian skellyhead Kai? Our Dirk. Did the guards rush to his aid? No, Iljian standing watching the attack just nodded and walked off. But why should he be surprised? Following Sally Buttons escort back to the safety of the city, it seems the heroic Faust was cautioned by zealot Kaelyn to leave the seamstress alone or she’d put him in jail, heedless to Sally’s repeated protests in defence of her recent saviour!! Can anyone else see a pattern emerging? This reporter thinks it’s disgusting to treat such a pillar of society so poorly, but maybe it’s a jealousy thing. The city’s finest defender isn’t in a duchy uniform, and he’s showing up the guards by doing their job better than they are!! Dirk Faust, I for one applaud thee. ------------------------------------ Kaldorian Creep sinks to New Low Tanya adds Yet Another notch to Bedpost. Not known for her chastity, Trinsic’s troubled Tanya has let herself down yet again, but this time has let down former friend Shelly too. Last night as I spoke with the radiantly pregnant Shelly, it was clear how pained she was by the betrayal by not only the feckless father of her child, but also by two-faced ‘friend’ Tanya. Following the brazen conversation that your investigative reporter, amongst others, overheard – it’s clear that Shelly is better off without the fair-weather pals she was naďve enough to put any faith in. As Gregorusser and Tanya badmouthed their ‘friends’ I took notes. Greg called Tammy ‘a dim lass’ and Amber was dismissed as just being a footsoldier. The keen Greg made it quite clear what his intentions towards Tanya were following the night they spent together. As he put it himself- “I nay want te waste this. It be over between me an' Shelly. I nay want te sort it out te much 'as 'appened. Ye know, since I were married te 'er I 'ad 'ad dreams... ended up in me sacraficin' 'er te Raza...every single night. Ye know when those dreams stopped? After we spent the night. I want yer Tanya...” I suppose it’s something that good-time girl Tanya is at least feeling some remorse for her betrayal…she pleaded with him that she couldn’t be “in the way of it ever sorting itself out,” because Shelly “is a lovely lovely Girl and I wont. She is carrying your child. Whether you like it or not you are still in some way involved with her….Everytime I see her I feel guilty” Greg was relentless though… "I'll do anythin' Tanya. Ye know ye want te!” Apparently he was right, as though now clearly rattled she replied “ I wish I could.. but I can't..It doesnt matter what I want. You know as I do its wrong Greg…we are adult enough to let this end.” Greg felt however that they were “adult enough nay te waste a life o' soldierin'” and we can only assume they didn’t, since they left together, leaving your avid reporter gobsmacked!! ------------------------------------ Announcements The Trinsic Rose proudly presents: Night of the Bards An event filled with song and poetry Starting at 2000 gmt on the 10th of April Theme of this event: Spring Rules * Your song/poem may not be longer then 20 lines * Your song/Poem must be related to the Theme of the Event The winner will receive a (sur)prize ! Re: Ye Morning Poste
Happy reading ![]() ![]() [The news as contained in this post you can take as IC knowledge. However any posts it links to are purely OOC information, unless you happen to have a good explanation why you would know about them IC.] Today’s Poste is brought to you by Betty Badoodle Hag on the loose so WHO is Inu? There have been many reported sightings of this old woman name of Inu, wandering the streets of many places. To date she has been spotted in Nuj'elm,Brittain and the latest reported sighting is in a house at Isamu-jima Tokuno sat sipping huge amounts of green tea. [ Apparently many have tried speaking to her but she makes little sense. If any one has any news of her please let us know...BB ] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Community to unite against new threat Ratmen organising forces against us.Get the wheels of cheese ready !!! Apparently news is reaching us that deep in swampland outside of Skara Brae and down in the bowels of some horrendously dangerous dungeon, there is ratman General named Lorgash. Seemingly he is organizing forces against our fair lands. The community will once again unite against threats against us. Will you join this valiant cause ? [See below in Whats happening tonight if ye be a brave soul...BB] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Letters To the Poste, I was a might upset this morning when I opened the paper to find such a slanderous story about none other than myself! I don't know what i've done to merit shuch lies but I will take the time now to shed the truth on them. I did not supply food to the rebels. The food was for the starveing people of vesper, who have had to be in hideing fearing the murdering yewmen. Who on one occasion actually ordered the targeting of the towns folk. I don't throw my family's name about like some folk do. Nor do I ecpect special treatment because of who my uncle is. I did admit who I was under interrogation I've nothing to hide. I did not however give up anyone as a rebel. I do not know any "rebels" as you call them. The only thing that was said came from this very news paper. That My uncle Nils had had words with kain and left vesper. Kind of hard to be a "rebel" if you arent even there. And that mr samsca had found his way (as I heard it) to the trinsic stocks. Which had nothing to do with Vesper at all. And yes I look those lashes, although It was execution that was threatend for awhile not meer lashes. Incedentaly have you ever received lashes with a whip? If you had you wouldn't be so calloused in your stories. We gathered to eat in peace and were attacked unprovoked by the yewmen and I was struck down unarmed and carried off to yew and received lashes. but that was where your truthful reporting ended. I hope this has cleared a few things up for you and the readers. Erika Twothumb [well that should set the record straight ...BB] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ To the journalists and readers of the Poste... Fruit baskets. Highway robbery. Personal ads. Just a handful of the supposedly headline news your latest issues have printed and passed off to the masses. Tell us, is it the Poste's policy to bury bad news, or do stories of invasion and despair shift fewer copies? I'm so terribly sorry to send your readership into a pit of depression (or even to put a frown on the nobles' uncreased faces), but the truth needs to be told - the city of Vesper is being crippled under the brutal Yewish invasion. The elderly, young and weak are dropping like flies in the streets through malnutrition whilst the Yewish militia burn desperately needed food supplies infront of their faces out of spite. Vesperians are being attacked on the roads and trade, once the lifeblood of the city, is all but grinding to a halt under the immense strain. What is being done to help? Kaldor - forget about your poxy burnt down prison! Trinsic - dirty up those scarlet kilts, put old differences to one side and think of the innocents stuck in Vesper suffering under the occupying forces. No good ever came from idleness, and when did sitting around holding discussions ever get anything done? The rebellion in Vesper needs your help. Yours etc, A Friend of Vesper. [we are sure all the help that can be given is being ...is it not?...BB] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Adverts Reputable firm of Lawyers sought for an forthcoming Custody case.
