Hunting has become very unproductive as the loot is all the same low quality junk. It would encourage hunting if once in a while something really good would drop. I have stopped hunting for the most part and only take part in activities because the loot has become so low in quality.

You need to farm the high-end monsters for high-end loot. I remember when a +10 or higher skill bracelet was godly, right after AOS. As our timeline progresses, the cut-line for items gets higher and higher. Just yesterday I lamented the fact that the only decent loot I grabbed was a 52 resist, MR2 medable leather tunic and a +14 Disco, +13 Peace, +9 vet +7 Music ring. That's 43 frickin' points off my primary template and I was disappointed I didn't get 5 properties and that none of them were max intensity!

Swoop, btw, with 2100+ luck. I think I'm the only person who hunts in luck anymore...

I have an entire bag of uber peerless loot from the days when I and a few in-game associates made it our mission to farm Lady Mel.

The true tragedy is the Vorpal Bunny Loot nerf that was never rescinded when it became clear that UO:ML added monsters that spawned with far better loot than pre-nerf bunnies (cu sidhes) and no requirement to wait 8 days to get a thorn to summon one...you can even argue that the cus are easier to kill than our fuzzy bunny friends.
