![]() | Commodity Deeds Commodity Deeds Commodity deeds allow players to transport and trade resources, of sizes that were previously unable to be held within a character’s backpack, with greater ease and security than before. Commodity deed contracts may be purchased from NPC bankers. They are "blessed", in that they cannot be stolen (if kept in the top level of one’s backpack), and cannot be looted. They will appear in the form of a light green deed. When first created, commodity deeds will be empty and hold no items. Empty commodity deeds will be labeled as "an unfilled commodity deed". The commodity deed may be filled by double-clicking the deed, then targeting an applicable item. The item must be of a stackable type (ex: logs, ingots, or mandrake root), and it must be within the targeting character’s bank box. The items which may fill a commodity deed are as follows: · bolts of cloth · pieces of cloth · pieces of leather · piles of folded cloth · piles of hides · arrows · crossbow bolts · feathers · shafts · boards · logs · reagents of the same type · ingots of the same type Commodity deeds can only be filled once. If you attempt to re-fill a used commodity deed, you will receive a message that states: “To claim the resources represented by this deed, drop it into your bank box.” Used commodity deeds will be labeled as "a filled commodity deed," along with a second notation in the form of "[item description] : [quantity]". You can “cash in” a commodity deed by dropping it into your bank box. The commodities will appear in a stack in the bank box. Scenario: Your lumberjacking, you chop down a huge section of the Yew Forest!! You use your fletching tool to convert the logs to boards! You now have 5500 boards of Yew’s finest wood to make all sorts of fine tables and what not! You place them in a commodities deed to save your back and pack mule for seeing the healer and Vet, grand!!!! You take this to the yew bank and deposit it, which is all well and good; except for the fact your workshop/vendor is nowhere near a bank. You now you have to start the UO shuttle to move your boards to your shop in small sections. Because the lovely commodities are so useful to transport items, except where you need them. Question: What good does it do to place the Items in a deed when the only place you can transport them and “cash them in” is to a bank???? Why can’t we “cash them in” at home? Make a strong box we can buy from the bank that allows us to “cash in”. I don’t see Georgia Pacific cutting down trees and moving them to the bank, they send them to the mill??? Thank you for taking time to read this and I hope we can see a change soon! Humbly submitted |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Commodity Deeds I think players have asked for the com. deeds to be cashable into our homes for some time, off and on again but it never happens. I too would like to be able to cash some of them in my own home. . especially for my carpenters/lumberjackers ie boards and/ tailors ie hides/ and of course rather than lugging x amt of regs home on my beetle what they can hold it sure would be nice to cash com. deeds at home of regs from our bank, to do our alchemy at home without a myriad of trips from bank to home hauling the regs cuz some kegs take lots of regs just to make 1 keg full or 100 bottles and ...........now that I think on it why can only some things be put on the com. deeds. Yet Wool can not be, heavy scrolls for scribes can not go onto the deeds, bottles too, etc. etc. etc. So many more heavy even light multi use often used crafting/etc/ things which they could have also included onto com. deeding deeds....and heck let us cash some at home even in reg. chests..who wants to crank all their alchemy at the bank or make the pet lug 1k or slightly more x 8 or more regs to fill kegs or bottles ... empty bottles/scrolls etc. also are heavy if seriously restocking. ![]() ![]() Zen's Garden: Furniture, Potions, Recalls, Addons, & public dye tubs, etc. EXPANDING across the street, ZenGarden TWO Zento ! |
