I like the idea that if I put something in a bank, items, gold etc.. That I have to go back to the same bank to withdraw it.. This would help fill up empty towns, and allow much more storage, especially for those without homes..

actually when I 1st started UO about 10 yrs ago that is the way I thought it worked....lol boy was I surprised to find that any bank works

Seems like a good idea, but personally when I'm in a hurry and just want to put my money in the bank I don't want to look around for a rune to a specific bank. I want to be able to go to any town and access my bank account. Even in real life we tend to look for banks that have a lot of branches and access to plenty of atms.

I personally wouldnt want to do the whole "now which bank did I put that in?" deal that I just know I would do. Sonoma doesnt seem to have a housing issue but I dont know about other shards. I have noticed that there tends to be a different hang out on LS vs Sonoma so I assume its different on every shard. Way back in the day people were more spread out at like Yew Abby, Brit West bank and Moonglow but since the creation of Luna that has kinda died off. Im sure it will change again if new land is created but I dont know if they can top the layout of Luna.
