| Guest | How can I log out faster to get on another character? OK, I know I am new at UO again and all, but is there a better way to log out of one Character and into another? It takes forever to wait for one to time out just so I can log the other in. Advice? |

(I spend that time still logged in doing something constructive) If you didn't log out in a "safe" area (inn/your home) you will have to wait for the timer to pass. (always log out in an inn/your home) If you haven't fought anything, and logged out in a safe area, you usually have to wait 5-10 seconds. ![]() ![]() Thanks again Maddux! ![]() | Re: Logout/login question I dont really like the way the games log-in/log-out system works either. They need to get rid of the 2min timer for PvM attackers, and give us an auto switch feature which would allow us to switch from one char to another with out logging out:grin: |

Foiled again! *grabs tinfoil hat* On topic: Another way you can expedite character switching is to tab in/out of war mode and then cast invis on yourself. This only works some of the time and only if you've aggro'd on a monster, NOT a player. ~M |

![]() | Re: How can I log out faster to get on another character? LOL, this topic reminds me of being able to log immediately after a steal by using the camping skill. I would have to set a fire in advance in the area I new I wanted to get away. I'd find my mark, steal, RUNNNNNNNNN, run around the corner of a building, hide and start the camping log out. I nabbed quite a few vanq weapons that way. Buccs Den (on Atlantic) used to be so much fun. You'd steal and have no less than 5 people chasing after you the second you turned grey. That happend a lot since I had about 85 stealing back then, lol...la |
