The Army :

Soldat (Soldier) : The soldier is the base rank in the Army of Skara Brae. Any type of character can be a soldier. A soldier can be a specialist : Eclaireur (ranger), Soldat Elite (Elite Soldier),...

Soldat IMI or Soldat Milicien (Milice Soldier) : That the same rank than the Soldier except the Milice Soldier is affected to guard too the citzen manifestation.

Caporal (Corporal) : The Corporal command a little group of Soldiers in the battle. He may to watch the confort of his Soldiers and their equipement.

Officier (Officer) : It is a intermediate rank between the Corporal and the Knight/General rank. He take charge of finances and estate management of all the Army. He can take a part in battle, but, most often, he stay aside and watch the good progress of the operations.

Chevalier (Knight) : It is an exception rank in the Army. The Knight is the lonely in Army warrior who can fight on a horse (except the General). The Knight is ennoble by the Count. They are the elite of Army Warrior and they have a certain liberty of decisions. The number of Knight is limited.

Général (General) : The General is the hightest rank in the Army. He command the troops. He attributes the rank in the Army. He can fight on a mount. He participate in the City Council.

The Temple :

Moine (Monk) : The Monk take charge of the maintenance of the Temple, of the cure of citizens and Army members in case of wound and of the religious education of the Citizens. He help the Citizens in the tasks of every day. He can participate in the battle, mainly as healer.

Ecuyer (Squire) : A Squire is a apprentice Templar. For being a Templar, the Squire must make a success of tests. The Squire can participate in the battle.

Templier (Templar) : The Templar is the defender of Virtues and Right in Skara Brae. He is a Virtous Knight, ennoble by the Master Templar after the tests of Squire rank. The Templar follow a strict Codex. The Templar can have a mount.

Maître Templier (Master Templar) : The Master Templar is the hightest rank of the Temple. As the Templar, it's a Virtous Knight who follow the same strict Codex. He attributes the rank in the Temple. It is also the religious man the most raised in the hierarchy of the Temple and, as such, he chairs in religious ceremony. He command Templars, Squire and Monk in battle. He can have a mount. He participate in the City Council.

The Town

Citoyen (Citizen) : They are the civilians of Skara Brae (crafter, sellers, fisherman, etc...). They organize the common live in the city. They are protected by the Army and the Temple fighter.

Maire Adjoint (Deputy Mayor) : He is the second of the Mayor. He assist the Mayor in his functions and take place in this ones if the Mayor is unavailable. He participate in the City Council.

Maire (Mayor) : He is the representant of the citizens. He is elected -all members of the Community can participate in the elections-. He take charge of the citizens affairs : application of the penal code, the organization of the tasks of Citizens, organized the official demonstration, the business connections with the other town, etc... He participate in the City Council.

The Hight Nobility :

Le Comte (The Count) : He is the supreme leader of the City. The city belongs to him of right. Any important decision has to have its approval. He chairs the City Council. He is also the hightest magistrate of the City.
