[IC] History of the Community of Skara Brae.

Many years ago, the Town of Skara Brae was a county. Made tired by battles and uninterrupted quarrels between citizens, the count –Robert Lampet of Skara Brae- left in banishment on an island of the South, leaving its subjects delivered to them even.

The epoch which monitoring was cloudy for the people of Skara Brae. Having protected only by the alliance of two orders –l’Ordre du Temple et the Clan Deisos- the city is subjected to the uninterrupted attacks of brigands and of mad fanatics. Most often pushed back by his courageous defenders, but leaving on place of huge material and human damage.

The ranks of the defenders became more and more scattered. Soon alone l’Ordre du Temple stayed to defend the city. Soon, it should bend after gruelling battles, leaving the city to a group of pirates and to a sect serving a diabolic goddess.

In spite of tries to take back the city, this one stayed in the hands of these torturers who returned hard life for the population. Very quickly, after foundation of a kind of empire, the sect accused the group of pirate of taking all lands. Soon, war raged in the very city, under eyes powerless in the Ordre du Temple which missed more and more enrollments.

During all this time, the old count had stayed on her island, encircled with his the most faithful attendants. But after all these years, he had become old and would be dying currently. The only rest of its family, a son, Emile. Emile did not share the views of his father on their city. And, in spite of the grief which caused him the loss of his last parent, he wanted to take back the city in hand and to give again to to him his glory.

On the death of his father, he took his courage in two hands and made that he seemed to him the most fair. It discharged his attendants, took over letters of credences proving its title and went to sea for Skara Brae. What Emile ignored it is that, and it was a big chance for him, conflicts around his city had greatly calmed down. After years of conflicts, each aspired more to peace than to revenge. And it was probably this that made that it achieved so quickly. If it had tried to take back its city in hand before, it would probably have been killed without other form of trial.

The first man whom contacted Emile was Bevier de Fendcolline, Grand Master of Ordre du Temple. Bevier was already in charge for a long time of the security of the citizens of Skara Brae. Even if currently they had lost control of the island her. Emile, having learnt all that - had made for his city during his banishment, gave in Bevier the direction of the ecclesiastical branch of the city. He added that this branch would count a combat party, keeping the mind of the Templars so. Bevier, happy to see a hope of peace for the city, accepted. More extremely still, brigands regretted and joined the Count. Soon, the citizens of the city greeted and cheered their new Lord in their tower.

The city of Skara Brae is once again united and ready to make forehead against his enemies and to treat alliances with other cities of Britannia.
