New Village named

At the PaxOku city meeting a name was picked for the new village. Neira of RBG came up with the name: Kijustsu Anei

Meaning: It has some meaning of "magic", though you would have to understand magic to understand the meaning...

Neira also said the village purpose is as follows.

This will be a neurtal spot for my kind. Umbra is a place of constant conflict. Some simply just want the peace to learn more about their art.

Lady Cat: All that virtuous water is what lit the fuse.
I believe I showed what happens when something virtuous comes near the water at the trial. It Explodes!!!
So people brought in loads of barrels of virtuous water close to the well and lined the streets with it.

Katherine: I thought it was water from the spring of courage?

Cat: and I believe from moonglow. Fountain of truth.

Adolphus Busch: Perhaps they mean you to "blow up"

Cat: Perhaps

Eric The Red: It was an effort to fix the problem with the well.

Cat: The well has become more violent.

Neira: but the water has contained it for now.

Cat: Seismic activites have started to increase.

Cat: I emptied some of the barrels.

Garth: So the water should be removed?

CaT: It seems to me the more vitruous activity that takes place the well seems to react in the opposite. Just an observation

Xavier: What are the implications if the water is removed now though?

CaT: The well will settle. to a less aggravated state

Katherine: Just an idea and I can not believe I am suggesting this... but what would happen if a large degree of non-virtuous activity were to take place in the city? Non-virtuous that is.

Neira: I dont think its that simple

Neira: The issue is souls reactiving they need to be taken care of. We can not simple bandage the problem. It needs to be delt with

Cat: It seems with all the virtuous acitvies as of late. The well is working to counter those forces. Releasing evil and taking good souls. As if it were trying to balance.

Garth: So how do we balance it?

Katherine: So if PaxOku was to host a big Necromancer Jamboree, for example, would that help to balance the well?

Neira: Oh no, necromancer parties are awful. Then the vampires show up Argghh

Xavier Reed: Aye....sometimes they do...

Cat: Or perhaps the well can be sealed again.

Eric The Red: Can we move the souls?

Neira: We still build over the land here I like the idea to move the souls.

Eric The Red: How many souls are in the well?

Cat: Move souls? I dont know how many

Katherine: How could we move them?

Neira: We need a container....

Garth: I would rather not remove the souls and risk further unbalances.

Cat: When it was recently dug blackrock was removed.

Neira: In the end we are dealing with trapped souls, how do we know we can achieve balance. Maybe they strive to escape/

Katherine: There are such things as soul gems, but I have never seen them in this real.

Cat: Remember the tokuno Treasures that were sought. Many creatures were slaughtered to recover those treasured. They to went into the well.

Katherine: Werent they evil.

Cat: They were evil Katherine. See Katherine the well if full of evil and lots of good outside the well. It seeks balance. It takes good souls and released evil ones.

Xavier Reed: So you are seeking virtuous sacrifices to balance the well then?

Katherine: What would happen if we were to seal the blackrock again.

Cat: I imagine it would become unaware again. It would be shielded from its surrounding like before and perhaps unable to determine if there was unbalance again.

Neira: But, we still build here.

Garth: So we will be the guardians of this well once we repair the blackrock. To make sure the bandage sticks.

Cat: I dont know how you stop it otherwise.

Xavier Reed: Seal it...build over it, and hope it is forgotten...

Garth: Hey, it worked for us two years ago Xavier.

Xavier Reed: Aye.... I suppose it did.

Cat: Do we have any books on blackrock or its behavior?

Katherine: I have several. I will bring some copies to the next meeting, if anyone is interested.

Xavier Reed: So we have no idea how much blackrock this endeavor will take?

Cat: Only enough to replace what was removed.

Xavier Reed: I for one have only seen it in small bit's and pieces....

Neira: Plus a little extra for a nice cap.

Cat- I cant imagin it is alot.

Katherine: I have some that I can donate.

Neira: As do I

Cat: And there is the question of manipulating the blackrock to create a seal.

Adolphus Bushch: I hear tables of a device that will fine it.

Xavier: Aye... who in the realm can work the material?

Garth: A device?

Neira: Aye they are building it in moonglow.

Adolpshus Busch: Is that were it might be found?

Katherine: It is suppose to be soon, though, from the reports I have read. It sounds like the royal council will be funding it.

CaT: I heard rumors Kronos stopped building the machine.

Xavier Reed: Hmm... was there a reason for this?

Cat: Just talk among other mages I have heard.

Cat: But, while the well is open I would expect more evil to be released and more attempts to claim good.

Katherine: The council is worried about the FoA (The followers of Apocalype, Formaly known as the Zog Cabal.)

Garth: We could just blow up the well with the armageddon spell. Get rid of it.

Xavier Reed: And if that fails?

Garth: Then we have one large hole in PaxOku.

Katherine: NO!

Eric The Red:True, If it does go wrong you may have a tole in Tokuno.

Katherine: Have you seen what armageddon does to a tiny Piece of blackrock?

Neira: Yes. I thought Lady Sounder how to do it.

Katherine: Now imagine what it would do if it reacted to the entire blackrock surrounding well.

Cat: Surely blackrock can be manipulated without the armageddon spell.

Katherine: Yes, it can. One of the books I have says it can be manipulated with simple spells. To re-shape it, rather then blow it up.

Cat: We only need to affect the seals.

Xavier Reed: Anyone know the size of the hole that needs to be sealed?

Katherine: I think that is our problem right now. We dont know the size of the hole.

Garth: Well I refuse to dig and check it.

Xavier Reed: You've been down there once already Garth... didn't you see it?

Garth: Nay I did not.

Garth: Okay for the time being... we will do the research and I say we do a good size and assume its a medium- Large crack. I would rather over estimate then under.
