Exclamation PaxOku Election Laws

Election Law (IC/OOC)

Running for a position

You may only run for one position in the city or Village.

You must publicly state what district you are running in on Uoforums and in the city.

You may not run if you are declared untrustworthy by the Governor.
(See PaxLair EXCLUSION BY DISTRUST LAW.)

You may point out your opponents decision makings on public documents and speeches.
(You may NEVER attack OOC)

Voting

-All Registered voting Citizens of PaxOku are allowed to vote.

-PaxOku City is divided by districts. Each RV Citizen may vote for one person running in each district.

Registered Voting Citizens
]

Due to PaxOkus open door policy of only needing to ask to be a citizen. One person may have multiple citizen characters giving them Two-Thirty Votes. To stop this from happening each citizen must enter a registration process to be a RV Citizen (Registered voting citizen)

Process

Which ever citizen you chose to pick you may only vote with.

You may register only with the Mayor or Deputy Mayor.

The citizen you chose must be linked to an ICQ#, Email, Guild, Uoforums login name and Paxlair.com login name.

Should anyone be caught with Multiple RV Citizenship they will immediately be revoked from the voting process.

RV Citizen characters should be your main character you are in the city with. Should we find Josh has voted in three elections and has only been seen in the city twice they will be revoked as a RVC.

Revoking RVC Citizenship

The Mayor, Deputy Mayor or Council Chair may revoke a citizens right to vote.

1. Suspicion of multiple voting characters
2. Inactiveness in the city
3. Bribing other RVCs to vote for someone
4. Breaking the TOS of Paxlair Statehood or EA

Exclamation Re: PaxOku Election Laws

RUNNING FOR OFFICE

As of now the only elected position in PaxOku is the Mayor position. To run for office submit your name and a brief history about yourself to the PaxLair Governor.

1. You will meet with the Governor for an interview.

2. You will need to publicly announce your intentions to run in PaxOku City in public and on the sky forums.

3. You may create an advertisement of sorts with pictures (For the Orcs) and some information about yourself and what you are all about.

4. Hold public events such as Parties, public speeches, debates and more.

RV citizens will vote on which candidate they believe to be the best suited to lead them. Mayoral terms are Three months and are able to be re-elected multiple times.
