PaxLair City - April 14, 2007
Oberon [LoR], King of the Elves, and Lady Autumn [LoR] visited Governor Winfield today in his Mage Tower office in PaxLair City, Felucca. King Oberon was very concerned about Mayor Ga'kuct's recent Krak un Krydey comment about killing all Elves in the Realm. The Governor listened yet did not seem very concerned. Within the PaxLair Statehood, Dragons Watch has a high population of Elves, so there may be problems between that city and PaxLair City.
Mayor Ga'kuct's statement in the latest Krak un Krydey was:
5)When the Orcs do take over the rest of the realm, what race or class will you eliminate first?
-Ilidz ogh kurze. Demz skurge ogh da uzg. Wud demz poyntee eerz agh demz nubhosh neymz. Ib eberiteeng guz lyk da skeme, demz wylz bi clompid BEFUR da orkiez tak ober da uzg.
(The Elves of course. They are the scourge of the land. What with their pointy ears and their crappy names. If everything goes to plan, they will be killed BEFORE the Orcs take over the land.)

King Oberon and Lady Autumn explained that the Elven race will not be threatened in such manner. At minimum, the elves will unite in defense against such orcish aggression. Yet, to fend off an attack by the orcs, a best defense may be a good offense. This was implied by the King. He would not elaborate further other than to say he will have a meeting of all Elves to talk strategy and what will happen if one elf is harmed.
He also indicated that Dragons Watch, Felucca has many elves in its population. The Governor confirmed this by talking later to Mayor Nanoc, who is a human. The Deputy Mayor Phoenix is also a human. However, the high population of elves in Dragons Watch could make this a nasty confrontation between PaxLair City and Dragons Watch.
Governor Winfield seemed somewhat concerned about the situation, while he talked more about his need to magically enhance a new fishing hook. He simply said the Mayors control their own cities of the PaxLair Statehood and not all cities are good or evil. So there is bound to be some battles and deaths. He said as long as the PaxLair Statehood was not on the brink of destruction, he would not become very involved. The Governor said an overall balance of neutrality in the Statehood expected some evil and good problems. Otherwise, the Statehood would unbalance itself too far to the good side or evil side, and that can not happen.
