New Community Project

PaxOku has a long history of great commerce but! It also has a long history of large community projects. I do not want to rush anything and I believe our focus should be on the new malls and the New Crafters Hall.

Unfortunately the malls are more of people working on something alone.

So as I went to bed last night I was thinking how can I make the new Commerce malls a community event to do in PaxOku?

Then of course Angelica the one always filling my mind with ideas reminded me of the Plants the city use to do. We would grow well over 200 plants a week and put them on vendors.

So then I thought to myself how could it not benefit anyone BUT the city?

Well we would sell the plants and the gold would be accounted for and would go to Events in the city. Some to supply the Crafters Hall and some to supply event prizes and such in the city.

All of us working together to better our own community.

So we have decided to start small. A place for 60 plants to grow that can be seen from the streets. The Drow building in Kijustsu Anei Village seemed to be the best place to do this. Ontop of the hill is a great place to grow plants.

So....now your wondering where all the seeds will come from? Do not fear! I am a PACK RAT! I have well over 500 seeds for all plants!! hehe.

So the following steps will be done to start this project.

1. Anyone in the Community will need to ask to be friended. Simply post below here if you wish to be involved. (This is to ensure the security of the plants because people can kill them on purpose)

2. Pick a row or section of plants to work on. (Remember this is something you have to check daily. So if you cannot make it on one day for 5mins let someone know.)

3. (Optional) Sign up to get a bag of seeds and grow them inside of your backpack (You will only need to water them or put potions on if you log onto the character) So its kind of a take home project you can do on the side.

4. (Optional) Sign up to receive free seeds and plants. (Since we are all working on it I see no reason citizens shouldnt be able to get free plants for their home.)

Mine young kin named Bethany Botanist could assist thee with option 3. This way she could help ye raise up 20-25 in her backpack and if the gods do something peculiar to those things which disable our ability to be IN this realm well it won't be a great loss, and yet this way she can DO something when everything within the fates permits us to BE in this realm. *smiles* Plus if it be some of those peculiar plants that also garner ye all orange petals for healing or red leaves for ye books and libraries, even better.

At any rate, I myself began growing just a handful this past week and they are popping into maturity to their pollination stages, like ye we have packratted many seeds ourselves. We have an alchemist in the family and plenty of water out the door of our Moonglow home and pitchers...so would gladly help ye all raise up some for ye city and city fundings, with the backpack method, which our Bethany is quite used to doing over the years.

I do not think that there is a functioning 'stocked' vendor-ish plant grower seller left much on our fine shard so this would perhaps be a magnet to bring folks in to finally have a florist shop for them to go to, for their purchases.

Oh btw I also miss the music box vendors ye all once had out there. *smiles* Seems the Queen quite fancied blowing her goldpense on music tunes at one time out there. I bet she would buy more if those ever returned but I do know they are difficult to acquire..ornery golems and all that.

*Smiles* I use to go and hunt music gears all day everyday then it became hard and now no one really buys them.

As for helping we would love any help you wish to give. All of us working together in any form is always a great thing.

What do I need to kill to get you gears?

I think the music gears come from Golems loots Ilshener.

Are they regular golums or only the paragons which have the music gears?

Normal golems carry the common and uncommon tracks. The paragon golems can have the common, uncommon and the rare tracks in their loot. I wonder if we will ever be able to get the track that was given out as part of the "Book of Truth" exchange again?

I did some golem bashing for about 2 hours yesterday and got zero music gears as loot. Not sure exactly how many of the regular golems I dropped but there were at least 5 paragons.

How rare are these drops anyway?

It is very annoying. I have taken over the mage tower in central Ilishnar and killed many many golems. The drop seems to be 1 in 10 for music gears. With 1 out of 10 being an uncommon. I have no idea how rare the rares are because I never received one. I can tell you that paragon golems are the only ones that can drop a rare gear. However they can still drop a common.

Before they changed it when it was music gear almost every other I hunted them for a month straight. I only got 3 rare ones. They are waaay harder now.
