Reminder: Skara Brae Community Center, Trammel, Thursday October 18th (repeated 20th 11am EST) at 9:00 pm EST. The Community Center is located south of the moongate and on the west side of the road.

What is an Amazing Race you ask?
The Amazing Race is a race in which people race around Sosario in competition with other people. Contestants strive to arrive first at the end of each leg of the race to gain points. The race continues on once a month for six months, with points being awarded.

Runners travel to and within Sosaria exploring all the lands. The clues point the runner to the next destination or directs them to perform a task, Each task showcases the geographic region or indigenous culture and customs it is held in.

The points awarded are as followed:

Bringing the item/items requested before the race = 5 points

Arriving first at the check-ins along the race = 20 points
second = 15 points
third = 10 points
Anyone arriving after receive = 5 points

The person arriving first at the last stop of the race = 20 points
second = 15 points
third = 10 points
All others receive = 5 points

At the end of the evening race the person with the most points receives 1st place prize of 100K; second place 50K; third place 25K

The points are accumulated, with the person at the end of all 6 legs of the race receiving a grand prize. Each month racers will start with 0 points although your monthly total points are accumulative for the grand prize. For each month a player that has attended before will receive 5 additional points added to the accumulated total. That could mean an extra 30 points!!!!!
