I am not the Mayor of PaxOku so this is not a formal address from the government of PaxOku. I wanted to let you all know of the changes, new things and the more active PaxOku City is getting.

Since PaxOkus founding we have had a good level of community. About a year ago we came back to an almost empty and devastated city. Everything that was... was no more. So we re-built the city with the idea of.

"We will never turn anyone away. Everyone is welcome as long as they follow the TOS and City Rules."

With this idea of how the city should be on our mind we began the reconstruction.

Uh, reconstruction began after the... construction, which was... shoddy, so they had to reconstruct.

We worked very hard to recover what we lost. But we gained an even better city and community in PaxOku City.

The Blue Light Tavern has a new host which is Absynth of the Sirens guild. She is without a doubt one of the best things to happen to the Blue Light Tavern....she may even be better then my decorations and designs......I said may.

She has taken on the job of running the Blue Light Tavern on Wednesdays at 8pm est. Our grand Re-Opening was Wednesday 6/18/08. The Blue Light Tavern had record numbers. It had more customers at this event then in the BLT history of events.



Viceroy of Kijustsu Anei Bam Bam is also around daily and always willing to help anyone in the city. She is one of the government reps and always reachable which is one of the best things we can have right now. I have seen many government officials come and go from PaxOku city and our Statehood. I can say without a doubt in my time here Bam Bam is one of the best we have ever had in PaxOku City. She exceeds in all areas in the city. She even took over a house in PaxOku and let us keep our graveyard on the plot and she built a smaller home on the plot. She is one that really does care about the city and community.

Also the PaxOku Crafters Society which was once a private guild went public a few months ago. A MASSIVE thanks goes out to Lady Angelica, Lady Treasure Isle, Lord Smithy and Lady Lin Min May. Im sure im missing one or two other people im really sorry if I did.

OkuC was no more then a five person guild and beyond inactive. Angelica and myself decided out of the blue one day to see what we could do with the guild. Within a matter of a few months OkuC became populated to 73 members. It is the largest guild in the PaxLair statehood and is also the largest guild ever to reside in PaxOku city. Besides numbers which are nice the guild is made up of TONS of great people. Everyone is beyond helpful and goes the extra mile. OkuC really became more of a family then a guild. I may have the guildmaster title but really OkuC is run by what we call Heads Of The House. Since OkuC is a crafters guild only we dont have to worry about PvP and PvM and champs spawns and if someone is spying on us. The guild is run by those that founded OkuC and elders of Okuc. Again a Big thank you to everyone who made OkuC possible. Also to a bright future!!!

PaxOku shops have moved towards the moongate and are within the PaxOku Crafters Society Crafter Hall. The Hall was constructed as a place for OkuC members to do bods, repairs and train skill. The build is our second most active in PaxOku city. Some people just come to visit us and sit around to chit chat. Others come and sit on Nightmares (You know who you are) because they believe in what we are doing and what we stand for.

If you have a crafter please come and join us. We try to populate the Crafters Hall with crafters on Tuesdays around 6pm est. Ill get official word on it from Angelica and other members. We will do runes and gates from Luna for free repairs, Crafting and enhancements. It has always been in PaxLairs nature to help everyone. So OkuC has adopted this belief and created the Crafters Hall to help everyone and anyone without bias.

The Blue Light Tavern is also making an addition to its name. The PaxOku City Hall which is inactive and started to show signs of decay will be demolished to build the new Blue Light Play House. Plays will be run every Saturday at 8 or 9pm est depending on the cast. Our first show is this saturday in the temporary location. It is right North of PaxOku City.

The play is called. Neos Day Out 1998. The screen play is written by Lord Gareth (me). The play is about living in the times of Late 1997 and Early to mid 1998. It reaches to the scams and tricks people use to pull on you. How simple it was to lose everything you worked for in minutes. And poor Neo of Lothlore just cannot seem to cut a break from OSI or Scammers that day. We have found some great cast members which include: Nanoc, Slick, Phoenix, Bam Bam and Noobert. We hope that everyone comes out to support us. Please spread the word. If you cannot make the first show dont forget we run each play at least twice. If their is a demand we may run it three our four times.

The City Hall which use to be its own building has moved to the second Floor of the Blue Light Tavern. Its really just a meeting table with benches and decorations like it use to be. One thing I have noticed is PaxOku is not so government orientated anymore. It is more about playing characters, being together and offering people a place to relax and have fun. I think that is one great thing we have done in the city. Less government and more RP and Events.

We are also researching reactivating the PaxOku Honor Guard. The Honor Guard is not a normal guild. Its people joining to roleplay a city guard. They show up on certain days during events and what not and patrol the city and protect. As we said it is a roleplaying part of the city. As the city grows the Guard will become more and more active. Guard can come and go as they please and are not required to put in any time unless they wish to.

Also the PaxOku Counsellors guild has been active but will now be used more. As we have new players coming into the city we are looking for people to fill spots like this as well that has basic knowledge of PaxOku and the other Statehood cities. Anyone interested in helping is more then welcome. You do not have to join the guild if you have other obligations. We will provide you with a uniform.
