The PaxOku zoo test is taking place below the BLT. We are unsure if the ZOO will be made a perminate part of the city or not. So far we have tested trying to kill the aniamals....

We were able to with spells since the cages had doors. We took out the doors and went to teleports and set each tele to friends with a master tele house in the corner.

We tested spells and fire fields along with EQ and the animal still lives.

The Rabbit was put in the Zoo at 9:45am est.

Now we wish to see how long the rabbit can remain untamed inside of the cage where it can move around.

Anyone wishing to help can visit the Zoo and post here the time they came and if the rabbit was still there.




Also the Aquarium is under way with some fish so we will be running a test for the next two weeks of keeping the tanks alive and how much of a PITA it will be to re-set up everything everytime we need a new stage.

You can not keep live animals for very long, but an idea that I have thought about before is creating a zoo using all the animal statuettes that are available. I have seen some clever presentations with only a few of these, but with the right decorations and layout, with some appropriate books and labels, a large collection would look very nice and would not need replacing.

Well it is now 5:45pm est and the Rabbit and all other animals are still in the Zoo. I havnt replaced them

I have been strongly urged to respond to this post by my tamer cousin, Lady Samantha Kent, so I shall do so. In our younger days, she would tame horses or ostards, once even a set of bullfrogs, rename them, and leave them in a friends houses. For example, 3 horses with the names Have A nice Day since the times she was around and they would be, they would not ever see each other. These friends always got the messages much later in the day.

Fast forward several years, and she still has a love of unicorns. She still will take it upon herself to occassionally leave a unicorn in the house of a dear friend of ours, Lord Xavier Reed. The unicorn is usually renamed with a friendly greeting. As many who have met Xavier know, he has negative karma. While Xavier tolerates this, it is not to his liking. I am sorry she cannot get it through her head that she should just keep donating those unicorns she cannot stable to the zoo in Moonglow. She seems to find a strange amusement in doing this instead.

She usually tames the creatures about 9 am and they have usually been there throughout the day and often observed well after midnight. One even stayed until the next day when she brought new 'messenger' to discover the one from the day before.

I hope your zoo in PaxOku goes as well.

Thanks. The Zoo is going well so far. Its 10:30pm and the animals are still kickin and moving around.

I didnt think of geting unicorns and bull frogs for the Zoo.

I figure since this is working ill take the zoo and step further and do a Snow area. Swamp Area. Grass area. Etc
