I have studied the ways of magic for many years, and with my return I have began studying the forms of magic recently brought to Britannia by the return of the elves. I am currently an Expert (80.0 skill) but am progressing rapidly in my assimilation of this new style of magic, and I plan to become at least an Elder in the Art.

One difficulty I have found however is a lack of partners for forming Arcane Circles to increase our powers. The benefits of forming large Arcane Circles are immense, yet it seems the demand for them is strangely low.

I request all interested Arcanists reply here or icq me, with a minimal amount of work I believe we can form a network that can gather to form powerful circles. Please advise me of your skills and how frequently you think your spellweaving will be available. We may be able to assemble full groups via alliance chat, and also via icq, hopefully without too much advance planning (maybe even reasonable sized groups on demand). Please respond regardless of your skill level, by knowing your skill levels, we can match you to appropriate groups.

This will also be a good oppurtunity to network, particularly for unguilded Arcanists or members of guilds looking to recruit.

Gak has been casting magic for many many moons. Sometimes Gak uses Corp Por then Vas Flam, other times Gak uses Vas Flam then Corp Por. Gak also casts In Vas Mani, In Lor, and Vas Rel Por. Gak casts to kill, NOT to make circles. Maybe you should use better magic then elf magic. If all that magic can make is circles, then you'll probably get killed quickly!

There is no circle that is great enough to kill Gak!

I'm not a spellweaver yet, but I'll keep you posted, should that change anytime soon.

I just wanted to mention that if you are human and take the Spellweaving quest, with the JoaT bonus, you can make a circle and use low level spells. Based on my studies, even at low levels, some of the Spellweaving spells can be very useful, with a level five, or six circle.
