As GM of a Knightly Order,I would love to use more quests for members to achieve the Virtues, as an integral part of them working along the path to becoming a Paladin. So a Paladin would only receive the title after aqcuiring all 8 Virtues (displayed on their gump )

It would add so much more 'meat' to becoming a Paladin /Knight to have the system fully available
Well for a true Paladin to take up all the vitures is rather diffcult since gainning justice at times is diffcult. The character I currently use as a Paladin is Legendary in chiv I took up chiv shortly after AoS came out for RP reasons, As well as a few close friends of mine that do the same. But everytime I go to Fel for some much needed old fasion pvp like I did with factions so many years ago before AoS. I've found if I don't have millions of gold or a decent suit I can't step though the gate without hearing he sounds of my fate. I have to say I die quite fast for a person that use to pvp with the best on the shard back on dial up. I don't know who kills me since I am dead to fast. Its not easy either when your out numbered. I love to take up all the vitures I truely do. I'm looking forward to the time that the Virtue armor suit is actually completed.

Re: UOForums Interview with Wilki

Wow fantastic interview!

I love all the questions that have been answered by Wilki.

I have just returned from a 6 year break from UO, originally I started playing 6 months after release but quit a bit after UO:R.

I love all this talk about returning UO to a less item based game, as that is what I am really struggling to come to grips with at the moment. Returning to a more player skill based game rather than "who has the best items wins" game would be fantastic.

I to remember the days where 20-30 players (blue's and red's) would gather in the dungeon at Ice Island and have duel contests. There were some truely amazing fighters and it was all based on their actual skill, and not items.

I do understand that the game has also improved, but I do find it sadening that it has turned into such an item greed enviroment. Being killed in 1 shot is hardly fun or challenging.

Another thing I find dissapointing is going to any city in Trammel and Feluccia and finding them completely empty. Luna seems to be the only place people go, but because of this the UO world seems ...... well deserted.

Sorry for going on, I do feel however Wilki is on the right page in his vision, and it is very encouraging to hear that UO is starting to head in the right direction.
