One thing that bothers me as a long term player and constantly pops up around old time players is hacked accts. If I were a dev, customer support, whatever at EA this would drive me insane. I would spend any amount of time it took to research these complaints. I'm not saying something should/would come of it but at least for my personal knowledge I would look at the history of these peoples accts. For instance email address, billing info including name, paid time, so on and so on. It would be fairly easy to find out if this acct has changed hands or not. Since the sale of the acct is "illegal" why not ask the current acct holder some details about the acct? If they cant even give a reasonably close explanation for the changes then ban them. At least the original owner gets some justification. Also it would curb the selling for rl cash, at least on accts. Also why not check into some of the fraudulent activity going on? If I log into my accts (6 of them) and transfer everything to another acct where everything gets sold why not question this as maybe someone has hacked my accts and just emptied them? Heck even Visa Mastercard credits your acct when someone makes fraudulent purchases. Anyways sorry for the rant it just burns me up to hear about players accts getting hacked! |
