Pondering over the reports of the destruction of Haven, I suddenly wondered if it could be a message from our Master, directing our attention to a clue to the location of the Sword of the Nine. I could not rest until I had investigated.

A bewildered peasant sifting through the ruins told me of the sudden cataclysm but was too shocked and incoherent to be of much help. I searched the abandoned buildings and came across a strange rift, giving an enigmatic glimpse of the void - surely the Master's doing!



The town centre, heart of the destructive explosion, was securely fenced off by the terrified survivors who were building a ramshackle settlement to the west. Over one fence I saw a strange chest, but couldn't reach it.

As I tried in vain to find a way through the barrier, I was heartened to meet a friendly brigand. He too sought a way to breach the fence, but had been as unsuccessful as I. We agreed that the destruction had a meaning for us.



I returned to the Temple, determined to find a way forward by meditating before the Master's altar.

A good report, Sister. Although no sign of the Sword was found, the works of destruction at Haven can be nothing short of the Dark King's show of force to the faithless. We must keep a vigilant eye on the happenings to come in and about the ruined town of Haven...
