The night ended in chaos,as reported below,but we made good use of what time we did have to spend in discussion.

As all gathered to commence the evenings business,disturbances were heard from outside the building.

We attempted to ignore them and deal with the matters to hand,but it was impossible to not investigate.

It was a good thing we did,as the sight that greeted us as we stepped outside the hall,was not good.

Sprawled out on the floor was the unconscious body of a guard,with the crouched figure of a man rifling through his pockets.


riflling the injured.

Ignoring Lord Falcon's demands to halt the theft,the man arrogantly stood up ,and turned to respond to Lord Falcons offer to join the man on the ground.

" Join him.? Dont be absurd ", came the retort,and then the man fled.




Lord Falcon ordered the purse to be retrieved by one of his own.





I returned to the hall as I was aware people left inside would be wondering what was happening.

Sir Bevier,was chuckling , as he commented how the brigands and bandits had chosen the wrong night to attack the town.






Lord Taggart and Sari -Leanne posted guards at the front and rear entrances and we resumed the meeting,




the first matter being dealt with, the appointment of a Military Commander.




Lord Falconer was the only candidate,and was voted in unanimously,by all present.


Lord Falcon, gave us a brief outline of how he intended to prepare us as a force competent to deal with any matters necessary,before we moved to the next item on the agenda.

Lady Sari-liane had a request to make of the Council regarding Haven.

As it was void of any military guard since the destruction,it was her Lords intention to take control of the town, and restore order to it.

After some debating of the current plight of Havenites,it was agreed the suggestion of offering protection should begin immediately,but with regular reports to the Council until such times as
the Leader of the Legion of New Haven had at least met the rest of the Councils members.

It was during discussions about Haven that things began to get disturbingly noisy outside once more,and whilst those who had been sat in the halls listening to the debates, though few,were polite and causing no problems,an element of the outside began to filter into the meeting.




Without a word of warning a figure appeared out of no where,by Sari-liane's side ,and she was attacked ,but the perpetrator,was swiftly brought down, and thankfully,though shaken ,Sari was not badly hurt.

Several folk took the opportunityof this interruption,. to raise points,not least the Drow named Vierna .



Asking what the council intended to do about the prejudice being levelled at her people,by Yew and Vesper ,she was reassured,that all such things would be dealt with in due course by the Council.

The meeting was then closed,so everyone could get home safely,and Sari-liane could get some rest.

It was agreed to call another meeting in the next few days.

However,it was also agreed no more of the meetings should be held in public.

It was just not safe enough at present,till certain elements of society had been removed.
