Well apart from all the above,have a surf around on News and Developers Forum,and look whats coming .

I think the plot is the PERFECT reason for EVERY guild to work together,despite of IC differences,as its looking very much like the fate of the shard is going to be in players hands [ or at the very least,the fate of Magincia.]

Let me know your thoughts once you have read what you need to

Half the reason we are in a pickle now is that most guilds are simply vehicles wiht no real drive or internal rules.

For example you can get a lowly peasant with better stats/template than grizzled old warriors or players make up reasons for their l337 pvp templates regardless of the sanity of doing so and in many cases GMs turn a blind eye or even possibly encourage it?

This just leads to confusion and lack of direction.

We could build a wonderful community with 10 guilds and 10 GMs willing to work together and I am still up for that and I wont give up either.

Love this post and hope for something like this to happen some day. I sure would do my best as gm to help with that As Gm of E-V i do get disheartened often each time i notice the interest for joining elves with my guild is as good as nihil. I guess people want to play other races, but not play in race guilds.

I love the idea of centralized as well, but rather not centralized in only one part of the world. The idea of two central points i think is much more appealing. It would be a shame to loose how things have become now with Trinsic.

Yes I agree it would spoil the way Trinsic is atm,and with the town now being the only safe and fast way to Magincia,I am sure you will have a lot of activity going on around there ,and I wish you all the best with it for as long as its on.

I know it was great when Vesper was invaded by Ophidians,to know,everytime you logged in you were bound to find folk to interact with from all over the shard

I agree callums post was spot on,and put what I was trying to say so much better .

Lets hope this Magincian storyline,will pull the guilds in the North together a bit more

The Magincia thing from what i read is long term so it should be easy IC to bring several guilds together towards fighting the demons that will invade the City.

Pity its Magincia though its a gorgeous City....... Decardo has a lot of IC reasons to want to clear the Demons from the City from his past RP.

I like that you'll no longer be able to teleport there, or access it via the moongates. It would kick all kinds of unholy arse if all the guilds were to put aside their differences and invade Magincia's shores en masse. Like D Day, but with swords and magery. Hells yeah.

Cant agree with the general opinion more.

I am sure,the 'fate' of Magincia [ if not the whole shard] is going to be in the hands of us the players,though I could be wrong .

It may well be that we have no choice [ at long last] BUT to help each other,because if the foe arent defeated shard wide,then the deamons will take over.

Remember how we had to push the Ophidians back from Vesper,and the evil spawn back from the shrines?

Maybe those incidents were just a little warm up for the 'real' thing

Also last year [was it that long ago?] we had to defeat the thing in that cave in Ilshenar and via stratics, f4g.net and uoforums we got some massive posses together under the leadership of Lady Flame and Lord Light.

All it takes is a few good men [and women!] to organise things and be leaders.

It helps if you have the charisma to carry it off as well!

Lets just look forward to a new event and I am well up for it

An intriguing thread I must say. The earlier vision seems very powerfull. I don't see anyone opposing such a, if I may say so, brilliant idea. Quite the contrary, if this thread was more public, more would applaud it imho.
