A proposal for the Conclave

A letter arrives for the members of the Conclave, bearing the mark of the King's Guard.

Fellow brethren and sisters--

Over the past few weeks and now recently at the field exercise, so well organized by Lord Falcon of the Knights Templar, I have been convinced that this council and this conclave of knights from around the realm holds a most essential role in the preservation of Order and Virtue in Britannia.

After decades of disciplined struggle, unparalleled by anyone else in Britannia, we yet again face great difficulties with the current state of our kingdom. These matters will require the greatest attention of all proper citizens of the realm.

To establish this Conclave as a formal forum in Britannia I call upon a monthly gathering of the Conclave.

My wish is that we by a monthly conclave will be able to bring up matters, discuss, and perhaps even reach conclusions in many topics; ranging from virtue and faith, to more practical matters such as current relations between the cities of the realm.

Regardless whether you find this idea appealing, I urge you to reply to this letter, letting me know your thoughts and ideas for improvement. I come forth with the best of intentions, and I will make my best effort to visit each and every one of you over the next few weeks.

I thank you for your much welcome proposal received today.

I can only reiterate your thoughts and shall see a hand written copy is personally delivered to all concerned at the earliest moment for their consideration.

I also found the field exercise of enormous benefits to the well being of the council and look forward to the next one.

A regular gathering would also benefit the Council as a whole.

So as to not ponder this matter too long.I will arrange a meeting to be forthcoming in the next of days.

I hope this letter reaches your hands and finds you in good health and that the Lady of Fates has been kind to you.

With regards your letter to the Conclave and wishing replies from all those concerned and interested. I agree with you in that regular meetings are beneficial especially if cohesion is to be achieved for the future.

I am not sure where the Conclave can go without an actual core guild for the Codex Belief being established. The problem is there are many small entities of knightly bodies around but neither of them hold enough clout or power to influence the current politics of the lands. I firmly believe this is why a core Knight Order is required, something to which Lady Tabbitha, Lord Kaelith, and myself all agree on.

Who knows what card the Lady of Fates will deal us in the future...time will tell my friend.

Esteemed Lord Edmund

I regret that my attendance has been rather scarce lately due to an unfortunate coincidence of timings. I would gladly see a monthly meeting to be set up, and will aspire to attend more regularly.
Hopefully this should lead to a more unified outlook to lend a knightly influence throughout.

Lord Decardo Imier Life is the Dance and Honor, the Dance is Death to those we oppose, Honor is our salvation. Without Honor the Dance is meaningless forms and we are nothing.
