A hand written letter is left for the deliberation of the Council Member.

Myself and some friends took it upon ourselves to explore the rumours of strange goings on reported to the Council Chambers. The runes we all carried seemed ineffective, so we elected to use the Moongate there. The size of the land mass had changed , indeed it now resembled the place i had known many years called Occolo. The town we all had come to know as Haven over the last few years had been destroyed, all that remained were ruins of the former town.

So then our attention turned towards the 'Old Haven' which had now almost entirely been sealed in by quickly erected walls of fallen stoneworkings and wooden barracades.

Many of the citizens had been killed and their remains had risen as walking corpses. What is strange is that these creatures are all blotted as if 'waterlogged' from being killed by being emmersed in water for a long time. Much like a body that is washed up on the shores of the sea.

None of the Black Robed Traders have been seen, and from tales i have heard from people in my time travelling Haven before the disaster none of the Traders gave out any of the 'promised' chosen items for any handed in Blackrock. I heard mainly of people being given some rare reagents.

The destruction to the Town is widespread and devastating from something very powerful and sudden. I think there is a link between the Blackrock Traders, the Blackrock and the devastation that has been wrought. I have more information to bring to the Council which i will do in person next time the Council sits. I found no clues either way as to whether the old lord of Haven, Darkion has any connection to the disaster that has befallen Haven.

A letter arrives for the Conclave from Edmund Fairholm:

It is with great concern that I hear of the fall and destruction of the City of Haven, once a proud crown city. I do not yet know how or why this has happened, it seems much of a mystery to me.

My thoughts remain with the many who lost their lives, and the many who lost their dear ones. Perhaps a memorial service could be arranged?

My humble wish is that the Conclave, having served so excellently in the favour of balance in the past, investigate this matter. I am unsure in whatever way I am able to assist, but if you should require anything, do not hesitate to ask.
