Smile The Chocolit Spring Garden

Greetings All!

Well here's my Spring theme decor for this year! =D
When I first heard of this Contest, it was 2 days after entries were open and thought I've never really done a Spring theme yet and was thrilled of this challenge. So I immediately dropped my Event house decor plans and spent 3 days googling up what I could make of the 'Spring' pics I saw, came up with an idea and spent a whole week accomplishing it from scraps of pics and memories of sights I have seen before in my past travels(rl of course).

Ladies and Gents, I present to u ...

It is an Asian/Japanese-Chinese themed Garden. 'Spring' in Japan is represented by the blooming of Cherry Blossoms while the Chinese have water lilies (and others of course but the Water Lilies were a more significance of spring). The ice has melted into streams, fishes are dancing in the water, birds are chirping merily, and a frog is having a sunbath on a water lily. It is also the time of the year to have a nice Hot Spring Bath in the outdoors Natural Hot Spring.

Also, the Chinese are quite fond of their gazebos/pavillions built on water and having a zig-zag bridge to cross(There is an interesting urban story as to why it was made zig-zag, heard it from a friend when I first saw it in China, can't remember clearly now but story has it that the Chinese believed that some ghosts follow u around but if u walked on the zig-zag bridge, it wouldnt follow u anymore, it was believed that ghost 'walked' in straight lines so walking in zig-zags would eventually loose it). heh..

Anyways, enough babbling from me Do Enjoy!

I love the cherry tree! and the hot tub and the gardens, and the gazebo, it's all very cute! I like the thought that you put into having the Spring theme, and I think that you acheived it nicely.
