![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | WoW: Talk 'n Squawk! I am getting REAL frustrated with LeatherWorking. I have discovered real quick that farming for additional recipes is a huge waste of time. Spent a few weeks searching the AH's, for cheap recipes (don't understand why they're so expensive, couple G's? c'mon!) but no luck, and I'm still saving up for my rideable kitty... so what the hay? Is LW really worth keeping? After I get my kitty, and start blowing money on recipes, will it pay itself back later? Or should I change LW to another profession? ![]() ![]() Siggy courtesy of Nevaeh, thank you! |

I very rarely buy recipes from the Auction House unless the price is reasonable. I have branched towards DragonScale Leather working because I can make make some "high speed" armor for my characters, and auction them off as well. My suggestion would be to gather and sell your resources to get your "ride", then once you have that, then work on Leatherworking. Unless your level 40, you wont be able to train to level 300, and thats when you start to be able to make the things in demand by higher level characters. Thats where the money is. Enchanting is more profitable and always in demand by "Twinks". But then again you need to be level 40 to make the things really in demand by those with gold. Work on having fun and getting your "ride" ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Dragons and dragonkin drop a nice amount of silver and magic items, plus give resources such as leather and scales. This guide will help you out: WoWPeek's Leatherworking guide ![]() ![]() |
