Okay I must have miss worded something here =( Cade I am sorry if I sounded like I was bashing Dodge... really wasn't intending it to come off sounding like that =/ I am never good at wording things just all I was saying that "I perosnally" had some problems and friends / realtives who had problems with the "within the recent years dodge..."

And I was just refering to the transmission problem we had in the past with our van and people we knew with thier Dodges... nothing beyond that =/ I figure everyone knows me well enough I didn't mean it in the way it sounded... nevermind

In a way, its probably a good idea they dont bring the skyline to the states... America is too stupid to drive this car. The Japanese respect HP in vehicles, Americans choose to race when they dont know what they're doing and kill eachother. This is why the base I was stationed at in Japan now doesnt allow people to come through the main gate with mods on their vehicles. They will not allow them to register them onbase, due to morons buying these exact vehicles and racing and killing people...

When I was taught how to drift and race in mid '98, it was way different than when that stupid F&F movie came out and made American kids think they could do it...

I had a Toyota Soarer(Japanese version of the American Lexus SC300, but with twin turbo) while I lived over there, and learned how to drift the hell out of that thing, by some of the best street drifters out there. The 2 best cars on Earth to drift in were the Silvia and the Skyline. They are a dime a dozen over there.. its soo funny to see the fascination with Skylines in the states, when there are grammas driving them around in Japan like they're nothing......

I'll take the beating on the Dodge bashing. I'll never buy another Dodge not ever they SUX!!! And yes I am talking about their pick-ups. I personally owned one for 4 years, bought brand new. At 37k miles the engine seized up and blew, well since it was a couple k miles outta warranty it wasnt honored, 6 months after replacing the engine (done by Dodge at a dealership) the transmission went out, also replaced at the dealership. In the 4 years I owned it I replaced the engine, transmission, starter twice, battery 4 times and the tires before I had 40k miles on it. Trade-in came as it was approaching 90k miles needed new tires again and just wasnt running well at all. In fact if I was stuck in traffic on a summer day I had to turn the heater on to keep it from overheating (very nice that was)! That truck was a 2000 model. I have heard since that they are made much better but that experience ruined me on Dodge forever.

Had problems with a Dodge Caravan... but totally loved and hope to relocate a 1979 - 1981 Dodge St. Regis

I will never buy another Dodge. Both Mopars I've owned had lost their breaks and steering while driving them lol. I am forever forbidding the possession of another Mopar. Only the last one actually caught on fire also.
