  |  Update on our aquarium :sad5: Someone is eating the fish! Hehe... okay so original count was: 8 cardinal tetras 2 neon tetras 5 guppies 2 honey guoramis 2 red honey guoramis catfish pleco Now: !!! 1 cardinal 2 neon 4 guppies 1 honey 2 red honey catfish pleco I've been trying to catch who's doing it. No floaties, they're just gone. The only body I took out was the 1 honey. And the scales were all messed up, like he was in a fight or something. The cardinals, they're just gone. I'm thinking the only 1 big enough who could have swallowed them whole was the pleco. They didn't disappear all at the same time. They would disappear by 2s. We'd check before we go to bed, by morning feeding, 2 would be gone. Sux.... Don't wanna buy more fish til we're sure who's eating them.   |

| Re: Update on our aquarium Do this! Take out the fish you believe is ebil..  And see if they still live... If fishes still die.. Take out a new fish.. and so forth till you find deamon fish!  The army is gone... For now... |

| Re: Update on our aquarium My guess is the pleco...could be the catfish but he is pretty small as of last pic. pleco's have that big sucker mouth they attach to anything they can so might be damaging other fish til they die then either eating or getting sucked into filter.  |

| Re: Update on our aquarium I didn't encounter that problem when I had my aquarium... I had a huge pleco in there that was the size of one of my irridescent sharks about 7 or 8 inches in length.... amongst my other fishies (neons, swordtails, gourami's)...none ever ended up missing. IMO I would start with the catfish.... good luck in finding the culprit!  |
