However, I am drawing a complete blank on item property max values. I remember that I used to advertise my armor's by total resists, but cannot for the life of me remeember the ranges.
What was the max unehanced? What is a good total for enahnced?
What is considered good nowadays? What is considered outstanding?

It's killing me that my original guide died, I had all that info in there.

I'll keep something with 42 or 43 resists to enhance. 50's = decent. 60's = sweet. IMHO

Standard crafted leather armor:
Base resists - non-exceptional:

Normal leather

Leather: 2/4/3/3/3 = 15
Studded: 2/4/3/3/4 = 16

Spined leather: + 5 physical resist, + 40 luck

Leather: 40 Luck; 7/4/3/3/3 = 20
Studded; 40 Luck: 7/4/3/3/4: 21

Horned leather: + 2/3/2/2/2

Leather: 4/7/5/5/5 = 26
Studded: 4/7/5/5/6 = 27

Barbed leather: + 2/1/2/3/4

Leather: 4/5/5/6/7 = 27
Studded: 4/5/5/6/8 = 28

Exceptional adds +15 resists, randomly distributed.

Then, if you use a runic sewing kit, you can get more resists (as resist bonuses are one of the possible uses of the magic properties assigned by the runic kit).

So if you get lucky, a couple of those property bonuses will get dumped into extra resist points, making for higher resist pieces.

My highest crafted piece (non-arty) is 67 resists.

There used to be something on stratics that listed the highest possible resists on armor (spawned) and crafted (runic). I remember having price points set for ranges of 5 resists total, enahnced and unenahnced. Wish I could remember it all.
